First issue with the new Headunit.

When I’m using CarPlay and playing music via pandora and I have navigation running (google maps or Waze) it completely mutes the music every time it gives directions. Anyone encounter this and know how can I fix it?

    *edit* never mind found it

12” Bulletproof Lift, AFE CAI, AFE Exhaust, rock lights, Fas-Top tonneau and soft topper, Dasaita 10.2” radio, light bar, ditch lights, LED headlights and fog lights, LED interior lights, Amp Research rear bumper step, dashcam, BT ODBII reader and Torque app on radio
That sounds more like a CarPlay issue than the radio. I’ve had CarPlay and apps like Waze do weird things. Try turning your phone off and back on.

It could be the radio, but you’re running vivid on your unit where I have Max10. Maybe those running vivid have had this issue.

    It was the radio
Turning navigation sound mode to “mixing” in the navigation settings made it behave properly

my only issue now seems to be that the fader doesn’t work at all. If you slide the fader to the rear it just goes quiet.
Another post in this thread indicates there is no option to control the fader on this amp other than the factory head unit but idk.

    Glad you got it working!

You’ll find lots of little bugs in these units, but for me it’s nothing that would end me sticking with it.

Can anyone share how to adjust the bracket the screen attaches to in order to move the screen around on the 13.3 model? Has anyone had the rear camera work but it shows a flipped image?

Go into the settings on the unit, there is an option for 'mirrored' and 'inverted'.

Installed a Dasaita 13in Vivid HU. Installation wasn't too bad thanks to a few different YouTube videos. Everything worked correctly right after, I just had to adjust a few settings to get everything just right. This thread was a big help as well.

Update on the black screen: I've had the Dasaita Max10 PX6 in my 08 Sequoia for 2.5 years. Love the HU but it can be quirky. I recently lost the display in that everything works but there is no display. I got tired of running BT audio from my phone to my HU so I put a few feelers out on the Dasaita forum page and received a little help but not enough to get it working again. They sent me a link to a new G12 model that is Qualcomm 665 w/ QLED screen (link below). I'll probably go for that one w/ the 8% discount they gave me but I'd really like to purchase from Amazon where you can get a 3 year extended warranty thru Asurion (link below). Luckily I did that originally so I got my $549 back in the form on an Amazon gift card - another reason I'd like to purchase from Amazon. FYI, you can purchase an extended warranty from the Asurion website, and it will cover merchandise from many stores, however, of course, Dasaita isn't one of them. So, if you want your Dasaita covered you have to get it from Amazon on the day you purchase the HU.

Installed 10.2 dasaita and have No steering controls. I’ve change the canbus to every Toyota option and not working. Also when going into assigning steering control keys, there is no icons to assign.

Just installed my replacement Vivid 11 unit and have the same experience even with the correct canbus that was sent. I gave up and programmed them all manually...which doesn't help you. I'd contact dasaita. Did u get thru Amazon? I did on both my units and was able to have an email exchange with dasaita/ Iris in my 1st unit, 2.5yrs ago but can't seem to fund a connection point on the new unit.

Has anybody here used the provided Dasaita GPS (that came with the headunit) and then upgraded by buying the adapter to the stock GPS and notice any difference in accuracy?

Will this unit work on a 2019 Tundra SR work truck? I don't have GPS, xm radio or a amp. The instructions didn't show a picture of my head unit

Send Dasaita a message with the picture of your current radio and they will let you know if that will fit

Just got the 10.2" HA2220H model and I have a few questions:

    2020 1794 Crew Cab

    1. I have several OEM plugs that don't conect to the wiring harness, is this expected?

    2. The unit will not power on and it seems I am not getting power to the wiring harness (pins 3 & 15 for ACC and gnd).

Has anyone else had trouble getting the unit to power on? I have an email out to Dasaita, but I thought I would ask here as I wait for their reply.

    TIA

Going through this hell right now on my 2010 non JBL. I can get half the steering wheel controls to work, the voice, phone and mode buttons respond... But the volume +/- and the Skip << >> aren't responding. They don't even respond on the screen when the button is pressed. I got the wornf harness, so I patched the JBL steering wheel harness to the non-JBL like in post #30 or #31 here.

Mine has been running smoothly with no issues. Now that it's gotten cold when I start it up in the morning it takes forever to connect to AA. I end up having to shut the bluetooth off on my phone and re-pair it to the head unit. No big deal but annoying.

My Dasaita 10.2 recently started showing signs of the backlight going out. The original seller offered to fix for free if I paid shipping or a 6% discount on a new unit.

I decided to try out the Joying 11.6” radio this time. I have lots of apps and accessories that I want to keep so I’m sticking with an Android unit.

this may be a little more of a floating screen than I wanted, so we’ll see. Other options were the Phoenix Automotive and AUCar Tesla style screens.

I think mine took a crap. Navigation buttons light up but no screen for the past couple of days. Tonight I'll be pulling it out to make sure something didn't come loose or something dumb like that, but it doesn't look promising.

So maybe a stupid question, but are the JBL systems supposed to have voices coming through the door speakers or just the dash?

after installing my Joying unit I noticed the fade doesn’t work and listening to the doors, it’s more like just music coming through. I actually hooked up my old Dasaita to compare and clear the memory and it was the same. Not sure if it’s always been like this or even supposed to be like this.

No issues with cables or plugs or anything, so reverted back to the factory unit. Took 10 minutes so no big deal, just annoying.

Reached out to Dasaita's support address and was given a procedure to force-load new software into the bootloader. Might give that a try, just figured the unit would last longer than 5 months without having to load new software.

I would think they would cover under warranty if that doesn’t fix it. I think it’s a 1 year warranty?
