I have been receiving shipping updates about my HU , and today I got an update saying it made it to California. Hoping it may arrive by the end of the week.
There have been shipping delays in China due to the new out break of Covid.

Anyone know how to update the Telenav maps? I'm on the latest software but every time I'm on Scout, it always asks me to download/update the maps, and it always errors out on downloading. I'm wondering if the maps on the firmware page is what the file is, and if so, how to install? Instructions say to "copy the TelenavMapData folder to unit Flash folder" but I couldn't find any maps folder in the flash area...

Has anyone by chance run voltage tests on the outputs of their units?

Got my Joying installed on the factory JBL system without a hiccup, but the full stereo overhaul will start soon. Trying to determine if I am going to run a line output driver like (https://www.audiocontrol.com/car-audio/line-drivers/matrix-plus/) to boost the low 1.5V RCA outputs on these units, or if the speaker level outputs are high enough in the 5-10V range.

Be worth saving the money and just ordering some metra adapters to run the JBL Amp input harness into the high level inputs on the Amp/DSP and sum them all and avoid the need for a line driver.

Has anyone tested the speaker level outputs?

    ***EDIT***

Never mind, found the answer after a bit of digging on some other audio sites, Hi-level speaker is the way to go over low level.

I have a 5 channel amp that only has rca inputs. If I hook up the Dasaita using the rca outs, will I lose the speaker level to the dash/center?

If so, what speaker level to rca is recommend?

Does anyone know if the ground on the harness needs to be grounded? It seems like the factory radio would have a ground already. My radio is the 13.3 and it’s losing its presets between power on and power off. I am using the CB 004 harness.

Beautiful. Not to be a pain but when you get a chance do you think some side pics could be taken to see how far the 13.3 sticks out? All good if not

I have been stalking this post for about a week or so and have come to the conclusion that I'm going to go with the Dasaita HU. I wanted to see if anyone else has a 2009 Tundra crew cab with a basic stock stereo AD1803 that has done the switch. I want to install a back up camera as well. Last question for now, is it better to order off the website or has everyone who ordered through Amazon got it faster?

Which mounting kit did you go with Scoshe or Metra?

Scosche but I’m not sure what everyone is saying cuz it didn’t fit. I had to mangle it all up. I didn’t try the kit that came in the box, but the effort I had to put into the Scosche, I would if rather just chopped up & made the free adapter work. Like it wouldn’t even slide thru the thing. Maybe they sent me the wrong 1, who knows. I didn’t even really pay attention cuz I just started ripping open boxes & test fitting stuff on my work bench.

If I were you, I’d order it to have it on hand & do a test fit. If it doesn’t work I’d move onto the one Dasaita provides & send the Amazon scosche kit back.

I’ve heard other people say that the 13.3 wouldn’t fit without modification to the kit. That’s one of my main concerns when it comes to the 13.3. I’m not very good at making modifications, especially when it’s plastic.
Whatever modifications you made worked well. Based on your pictures, yours seems to fit just like it should.
I wonder if the Metra kit would work better on this model?

I just snapped off all the extra plastic. So now it’s just a fascia. Which doesn’t really matter since all I was worried about were the clips which still lock it into the dash.

I have basically this model and I've had for over a month and still not working. I have a 21 with JBL, after they sent me the wrong harness I finally got the right one, so got it all hooked up and no sound from anything. I'm getting a little frustrated to be honest and it takes a day or two, not including weekends to get replies from Dasaita on this. And the only steering wheel controls that work are the volume, which is ironic right now.

    2. scroll down to factory settings and press factory settings
    3. enter the code 126 hit done then OK
    4. on the next screen on the top go all the way over to the right and hit other
5.look for steering wheel keys assign
6.go over to the right it should say SWC Key hit the down arrow
    7. change to can key hit apply then exit
    8. on the next screen look for steering wheel keys and then 1 at a time press a key on your steering wheel until you have pressed them all. if you leave a key out it will not work then hit save

I did receive my 13" HU on May3. I have installed it in my truck. The HU comes with NO helpful instructions at al, IMO.
I purchased the canbus that DAsaita said would work everything. Well, it did not come with an adapter for my backup camera. The response from an Dasati email was

    to me

Hello, your order did not buy our rear camera, so we did not give you, the factory rear camera on your car can be connected to our head unit for use. The GPS antenna is included in the box, please check clearly.

Of course I had sent an email inquiring whether Everything was includrd to make my backup camera, SWControls work.
FYI, make sure if you place an orderto get everything you will need. One would think that for the price they charge, EVERYTHING would be included.
    So their customer service sucks,IMO

Installation booklet not included. But I was able to figure it out with some minor adjustments.
After a few times of trying to get Zlink to work, everything is good and I like the HU. Of course now I have to purchase an adapter for my backup camera

You bought directly thru Dasaita’s website?

I had trouble with my backup cam at first but I realized it plugs into itself if that makes sense. The canbus I had spits out an RCA from the factory wiring. I thought because I didn’t have any RCAs stock that I didn’t need to plug any in. But you had to plug it in & then into the canbus. It creates the wiring harness for you.

Hey Beerman, thanks for the reply. 0.jpg
I did buy directly from Dasaita website.
Not sure I understand what you are saying about the connection. I own a2016 and the backup camers factory wiring connector is like a rectangle shaped connector. I believe that it needs an adapter to connect to the RCA connector from the canbus.
As you can see from the above pic that was sent to me from Dasaita in an email answer, there is no adapter to connect to my factory wire for the backup camera, which is the white connector in the top left of the pic. and the yellow RCA on the bottom of pic is for the backup camera from the canbus.

Your pics of Dasaitas response don’t load on my phone for some reason. You might have the wrong canbus.

What I meant was that I had that yellow RCA cable coming off also (my connection plugged in) but I was looking for another RCA to hook it up to. I didn’t realize I needed to use another connection that they had sent in the kit. I plugged that into the radio & hooked up the yellow cables to each other. Voila I had my backup cam.

Anyone able to add a SIM to the HU and hook it up to a wireless carrier? Want to add a device to my plan, but cannot locate the IMEI.

Anyone have luck with this? :monocle:

Hopefully this question helps someone in the future. Assuming we can determine a solution! lol I have a 2020 Tundra Non-JBL with center speaker. I have the CB047 harness, but for some reason my harness does not have the AMP-CONT and AMP-DET wires. Maybe I have an older version?? I have a 5 channel amp that I plan to use, so I think I'm okay without them in my CB047 harness??

Regarding the small gray plug, i believe that's my USB. And the blue is for the factory amp. I'm not sure where this "wide" GRAY plug should go (1st and 2nd pic), or if it's not needed (ps, i plan to disconnect center speaker too)

After turning on the car, I realized the gray wide cord plugs into CB047. Any idea what the black wide plug is for? There's also a black and white plug that goes up to the center speaker area. Is that used?
