Also is it plug and play when they send the harness or do I have to wire stuff? I messaged the seller what model I have.

Does it matter if mine is non jbl? I assume the same canbus will work with either one.

Mine is non-JBL.They will send you the proper one. Did you order from the Dasaita Official Store? If so, Iris will get back to you. It usually takes a day or so.

And yes, to answer your question, it is 100% plug-n-play. There is an adapter wiring harness that does it all for you. There is no splicing that needs to be done (like in the good ol' days of car stereos).

Sorry for the late reply. My entire Windows profile was wiped and so I wasn't even logged in on the site while browsing (no notifications)

    1) I actually think it does. There were a TON of RCA inputs on the back of the deck, far more than I ever thought I'd see
    2) and 3) I would eliminate the the DSP and go to a single amplifier. The deck has built in steering wheel control mapper/control so that makes your Maestro harness useless. I am not even sure how they would interact with each other or if the Maestro would even function with the new headunit
4)No need for stock amp, this has it's own onboard DSP, which is the main reason I went with it as the factory AMP required "decoding" to make audio sound not baffled/muffled and cost a LOT to adapt via other means
    5) Im assuming you have a factory back up camera? As long as your adapter converts it to a RCA input, you'll be golden. The deck only takes RCA video in for rear cameras
    6) and 7) were not needed for my truck. The unit ships with a GPS antenna and connector for the back of the head unit. I would just pull your old GPS antenna out and place the new one in its place. It's what I did when replacing my OEM Nav in my 2014 Scion tC. It was just stuck to the dash chassis with tape
    8) and 9) No, all the wiring comes ready to plug into your OEM harness, what you'd need is some sort of splitter as the headunit will plug directly into the factory harness

I have a problem that hopefully someone can help me solve. I searched through this thread but was unable to find the answer to my problem. I have an 07 with JBL speaker package. I connected it all up and I think everything works except for I think my rear speakers and sub(steering wheel controls work and I am using canbus option 8 in car settings). I tested this by going to the amplifier app and moving the speakers to rear. No sound comes out.

These are all the connections coming out of my truck.

That antenna plug I just plug directly into the dasaita din. The bottom 2 I plugged into the canbus, I ordered with cb005 and it matched this one
So the top plug I had no where to plug it into, this is it isolated. It is one more column wider than the smaller plug I plugged into the canbus.

And these are the wires going into that connector

These are my canbus connectors, I didn't use the bottom left antenna plug.

And these are the connectors for the default adapter that I didn't use

So I am thinking I am not getting sound from my rear speakers because that last plug isn't plugged in anywhere, is this correct? If so what do I do, is there an adapter I can buy or do I need to do some kind of splicing(this is the first HU I've replaced)? Or is it some setting in Android that I can't figure out. I appreciate anyone's help, thanks.

What settings does Everyone have for the DSP as well as EQ. I am struggling to find a good setting to use with the Factory Speakers ( jbl).

So after a lot of searching I don't think that connector is of any importance, I found this helpful document https://docplayer.net/64223285-Titl...n-instructions-february-16-models-tundra.html that shows that it's the K9 connector and at least 3 of the pins shouldn't matter. So my speaker issue must be something else, a software issue that I'll keep playing around trying to track down, if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

Also, for anyone else wondering I was trying to upgrade the SD card from 16GB to a 64GB one. I was running into an issue with the navigation app, I would get a popup stating "global_cfg not found" I ended up tracking that problem down to there is a license file for the nav app that is tied to the SD card hardware. So if you want to swap SD cards, you won't be able to use the stock nav app that came with the unit.

I don't like that the stock bracket doesn't fit the DIN, its very theft friendly. Whereas it took half an hour to remove the stock radio. All someone has to do is pull down on this one and they can have it out in a minute. Not even a need to mess with removing the surrounding panels.

Which canbus would I need for a non jbl 2017 tundra? Just so I know I have the correct one before tearing the dash apart.

Ok so I am halfway stupid. I set everything back to default and went and actually put my ear up to the rear door panel speakers and subwoofer, and there actually is sound coming out of them. The problem is they're just so damn low compared to the front speakers it sounds like they don't even work, especially compared to the center speaker in the dash that overpowers everything.

I like the sound to appear even from all directions when sitting in the driver's seat and I remember setting my JBL stock unit to increase the volume for the rear speakers to account for this. But anything I do in the Amplifier app to lower the volume of the speakers in the front also lowers the speakers in the rear, using the default "Rear" setting in the app shuts off all sound.

I really didn't like the look of the floating unit so I went with the more flush mounted HA5440-MAX10 from aliexpress

Does anyone have any experience putting on one of those anti-glare screen protectors for tablets, do they work? My front windows don't have any tint and the passenger window can make it hard to see things in the top right corner of the screen.

So, I have seen alot of references to the Android 9 models. I have a 2017 SR5 CrewMax. Has anyone installed the new Android 10 unit? I may have missed through the 45 pages on the thread.

This is what I got back to use from the seller on Amazon:

Hey guys I found this thread via google.. so sorry if I didnt read all 46 pages, just looking for some clear info/help with this unit https://www.amazon.com/Dasaita-Andr...0838Y9DDX/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I'm trying to install it in my 2011 tundra limited with the JBL system (installing aftermarket amps/speakers soon!). I'm trying to use my factory backup camera. I'd also like to add a front facing camera too. What harnesses/accesories will i need to do this?

also how does the sirius/xm radio work? I see its not supported but people say you use the app? so I need a hotspot from my phone to make it work?

How long did it take to get delivered?

Is everything you need in the box, or you have to get other patch harness and accessories?

I have the one with Android 10 and it's fine. Btw, you don't need to order the cable if you order from the Dasaita official store - you will message them your truck year and radio type and they will ship you the proper cable with the head unit.

For my 2007 with JBL I had to install both front and rear cameras, but they just plugged into the RCA harness included with the radio. I am trying to assist a member on this forum who also has a 2nd gen and can't get his reverse camera to come on when put into that gear. I had to tap the blue wire in the passenger side kick panel (I think its on page 42 or 44 of this thread)

I almost exclusively use CarPlay, so I am not familiar with Sirus/XM

For those with the integrated Android Auto/Carplay units, can you confirm if ALL of your USB ports work for wired Android Auto (or maybe CarPlay)?

The 'single' USB port that I installed into the lower dash (with the adapter into the stock, OEM location) doesn't work for Android Auto wire, but the (2) 'split' USB port dongles work just fine.

Perhaps it's a problem with (screws up the connectivity) with the single USB adapter dongle as it converts over to use the OEM port?

Where did you guys mount the microphone? I placed mine on the dash by the steering wheel and everyone says I sound like I’m in a tunnel. Any suggestions on placement or is it just a bad microphone? Did anyone buy a new microphone?

Mine got hung up somewhere and was just short of 3 weeks. Everything was included, but I bought an aux/usb kicker panel port and a dual usb port since the unit has 3 usb inputs.

I mounted mine on the steering column but I don't really expect to use it. Testing it through a mic app the volume sounded very low. I saw posts throughout the thread that said the mic was crap and buying a secondary mic to replace it greatly improved the response.

Can the HU be pushed up so it sits flush on the 3rd gen or does it always have to stick out some?

    That looks nice, thanks!

I just prefer a more flush and clean look but noticed everyone had them sticking out some lol!
