The hdmi output supports touchscreen interface? I though it’s usually done with another usb or serial interface?

You don’t need anything . Just plug the factory camera into the wiring harness that comes with the dasaita unit

It should all came with the canbus the seller send you. The only issue is whether the canbus is programmed to send the correct voltage to power up the factory camera.

I updated through USB using Dos FAT 32 format. Worked great.
    Love the new update.

Volume for HDMI screen is disabled. That is awesome!

Also few other things now work better.

Still need to test the LED in the morning. We shall see if it fixes the issue. Over all nice update. Props to Dasaita for trying to better this .

Also noticed there is a new slider for Night mode. But it does nothing really. Unless I'm missing something.

Bluetooth connection is better. Apple CarPlay connects better. Wifi connections to hotspot is still a hit and a miss. But I noticed that it depends on where I am located in the city. Only enough.

the layout is better. Siri works much better too.

In your first photo of the 2 plug. Can you probe the right (big) plug. Probe the dark grey and light grey. See if you get 6v. Then the red and white wire beside those greys. Probe those also, see if you get any reading. Im purely guessing the dark grey and light grey is the camera power (6v). The other 2 are the video signal power and ground.
Put your mulimeter black probe to ground and stick the red in yhe dark grey or light grey wire. See if 6v show up. Put the car in Reverse while probing.
If my speculation is correct, you will see 6v on one of those wire. The other will be the negative (ground) for that 6v.

So your saying this Canbus and Vehicle specific harness really isn't "Plug and Play"?

You shouldn’t have to do anything, there should be a cam input for the backup camera, all you have to do is plug in the rca cable. Do you see any rca that’s label cam?

Yes, there is an RCA CAM but the factory cam harness doesn't connect to an RCA. That's what I'm confused about.

I have two harnesses from dasaita. Do you know which part number is for my 2010? They are XC-5217-0031(LC), and the other is XC-5217-0061 (LC)

I got my unit in last week and have it all set up. The only setting I cannot figure out is....when I put the truck in reverse and the back up camera comes on the image on the screen is flipped horizontally. Anyone know how to fix this? I see that you can tap on the camera icon. And it flips it that way but it does not stay in the correct position. Any ideas?

So Dasaita says my factory backup camera will not work even with their vehicle specific harness. Is this correct? Mine is a 2010 limited

I dont know how true it is. Can you post up all the 24 pin plug from the dasaita harness? Let me see how they pin it.
Because if they dont work, you will have to get something lik this and do it yourself.Screenshot_20200129-103825_AliExpress.jpg
    Screenshot_20200129-104841_AliExpress.jpg
You can see (reading right to left) pin 11, 12, 23, and 24 is occupied for the camera power (6v) and video signal.

    Pin 11: video positive signal
    Pin 23: video negative signal
These 2 pins(above) = yellow male rca wite.

    Pin 12: power 6v+
    Pin 24: power 6v-

You already identified the reverse signal wire. Pin 2 from the 28 pin plug (also reading right to left)

You can compare that to the dasaita 24pin plug and see if those 4 slots are occupied.

If it is occupied it should look like the photo below, it may have more pin occupied in other slots also. I dont know what those other one are or what they do.

As far as the converter goes, it will need to be connected to an acc+ and ground. It will pull power and reduce to 6v to turn the camera ON.

No I don't. The first harness they sent me does buy, it doesn't plug into the Canbus.
