Hi All, I purchased a Dasaita headhunt 10.2 from a member on our board. But when I received the headhunt I noticed 2 pieces of plastic holding the screen to the head unit are missing. He said to never had them. So I need to find out what this part is called if anyone one knows. Image of it is attached.
I am trying to ask Dasaita or Phoenix to help me.

Plastic screen tilt pins. Yeah, they probably aren't sold separately, so Dasaita is your only chance.

Hello guys, I got the DASAITA 10.2 screen on my tundra 2019, but he takes forever for the z-link to connect to my Apple CarPlay. I don’t know if I need to update my Z-link ( version 3.3.19) I search in the internet, but can’t find nothing. Thanks

    Thank you Tinman!
The install is actually fairly easy. Well after i figured out that something is off about the screen.

Only thing not working for me in a 2018 is the TPMS and Fuel. Perhaps wrong canbus from the person I purchased. He has a 2016 Tundra. So wondering if I need to update wiring properly.

Another question. Has anyone yet using the DVR feature? What camera do you use for that ?

I need to load it, but can anyone confirm that YouTube TV works on this? Thanks for the Netflix app, was missing that on the last road trip. Had to use Prime video to entertain the kiddos in the back.

Here are the issues I am having guys. 1. My hotspot is not working too well. Anything with login to chrome it says can't connect to https secure. Odd.
Will try to figure that out. Next trying to setup CarPlay so got a usb see if I can get software that way.

Oh also TPMS works if you go into car info. The other software where it says TPMS that's for the dasaita tpms sensor

@916tundra Thanks for starting a fabulous thread about these HU... I'm still on the fence about getting one.. partly because I really like my XM and tend to windup in the back of beyond where cell service is a mere myth... but wanted to express my appreciation to you and all the other people contributing to the knowledge pool here...

Ok pulled the Dasaita out of my car. This thing frustrates me to no end now.
    1) Has noise coming when nothing playing. just this little bit of hum. Tried grounding better and pulling cables. Nothing helps. So I know it is the head unit.
    2) The volume is so loud coming out of this thing. Its insane loud. At few clicks its screaming at me.
    3) Using Carplay unable to open Radio. So need to go to apps panel and shut down carplay in order to listen to radio. And that is ok IF there was normalized sound coming from this thing.
    4) need to upgrade microphone. I use phone in the car alot. This microphone sucks BAD

Put OEM head unit in and it seems simplicity as bliss.

I want to get his thing running But I will wait a little bit for more parts to arrive.
Also I need to research on how to normalize the sound from this unit or update the software or something.

My hands look like i plaid with 10 kittens.

Be patience, I’m sure you can troubleshoot most of the issues.
1)where is your current grounding point? Did you ground at the same point as your aftermarket amp? Ground loop noise is caused by having multiple grounding locations.
2)did you retune your amplifier after installating this HU? You do have an aftermarket amp correct? Need to retune so that the voltage is correct.
3)carplay is essentially an app. Cannot run multiple apps at one time especially music/video apps. There are many radio apps you can download and use from CarPlay.
4)I have no issue with my microphone. Maybe buy a better one and test it out.

You said that you bought this HU from someone on this forum. Did he or she have any issue with it? Also, why would the hinge pins be missing?

Thanks! Just trying to contribute to this forum like many others.

Before you make the decision, ask yourself what do you really need in a HU? If the stock unit serves you well, you don’t need to upgrade. If you want bells and whistles in a HU, this HU has been great for many of us. And if you decide to buy this HU and all goes well, you can sell the stock one to recoupe a good portion. That’s what I did.

Yea tested the mic and it was dead. Opened it up and saw bad soldering covering both ground and hot wire. So it was shorting out, New mic ordered.

You might be right about Amp needing some running. I will research further into this.
When you say Voltage is correct. It is all 12 volts is it not ?

Tune your amp using a digital multimeter (volt meter). The gain (AC voltage, not the same as 12 dc volt from the car battery) has to be set correctly. There are many videos on YouTube that will show you how.

This is one of them from ********* since I have their amps. https://youtu.be/cSkYKWLHrws

So this is for the main 12.2" unit that most everyone has? I've been apprehensive about updating as I know Android can brick pretty easy. But I'd love to have a volume fix.
