We've probably single handedly boosted their quarterly sales 3 to 4 times.

The Axxess USB adapter listed in the original post allows you to use the OEM factory port. That’s the port you would use for CarPlay after you hook up the Dasaita dongle to it. Not sure about the AUX.

Put mine in. It is awesome. Only complaint is that my back up can look horrible. Am I missing a setting?

Our backup cam resolution is bad so it looks worse on a larger screen. No, you are not missing any settings.

Ok two more issues. No tpms and I turned on the backup lines that move and when I crank it all the way left the lines are straight then right it moves as and bends.

Tpms is not a standard function on this HU. Those moving backup lines don’t work properly and not accurate, just disable them.

On Android when you pair it, the phone will ask if you want to allow access to contacts.

Small Problem with mine this has happened 2 or 3 times. The back up or forward facing camera freezes on a picture and wont change/move. Since you cant hard reset the HU I just sort of have to wait it out for it to fix it self.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have it where my screen will "flash" or increase brightness levels like 10x very briefly and then come back down to normal level quickly. That being said, mine a Master Tailgater aftermarket camera as my 07' didn't come with a reverse camera.

Getting mine all dialed in. Created a Bixby routine to auto start wifi hotspot when the bluetooth connects. Then I installed Tasker and created a profile to launch pandora when the wifi connects and then return to the Agama home screen. love this thing. very cool.

BTW..... mine says it has a PX6 not a PX5

Its pretty much a computer with its own MCU (Micro Controller Unit) for non Android Functionality that works with an Android OS. Because of this, you will experience all the things that come with having a computer such as lag, freeze, and OS/Hardware issues. With that being said, I know its modular so you can essentially replace the Bluetooth module if it bombs out and even order a new chipboard. All can be found on aliexpress. ;)

Got mine all set up and installed. Havent been able to figure out the car launcher thing yet as I am not a fan of the UI by default and their Car one thats loaded on there is not very good either. A couple things I have found slightly annoying or observed:

    • The lowest sound setting is still too loud. My wife even mentioned this when we were driving the other day. Its like if it was a scale from 1-10, the lowest volume would be a 4. Wonder if there is a way to change this?
    • I didnt realize with CarPlay that you cannot actually see the messages on your screen. Its only stupid SIRI asking me what i want to do. Also Siri's voice volume does not match that of the volume selected on the HU. She is always more quiet
    • The Metra Mounting Kit holes didnt line up really on the side of the radio. I could only get 2 screws in on each side. Wish there was a more sturdy kit to use as it sort of rattles a bit where the top would "clip" into the slots
    • The Canbus labels are some what of a puzzle when it comes to the stock reverse camera. Both of them said VIN CAM IN but their spots were labeled as VIN CAM and CAM AUX IN (I believe). I mentioned this earlier in the post.

Overall I really like the HU and my wife is even a fan, she says it really looks like it could pass off as an option from the factory.

So I've asked previously and got just a bit of response.

What is everybody running for apps? Has anybody found a quality nav app that runs solely on the trucks' GPS?
Favorite launchers? Music Apps? Navigation? Engine Monitoring?

Potentially come up with a large list of favored apps and then add it to the front page of the thread?

    Everything I use requires hotspot.

    I use waze for nav
    Spotify/Pandora for music
    Torque Lite - Engine monitoring

I don't use a launcher, just the "Home Screen" with the apps.

I am likely in a similar situation. I need to set-up a auto-task or whatever you want to call it through my phone to turn on my hotspot when I connect bluetooth.

My main drive behind trying to find a NAV app that will run off the truck's GPS is in hopes of keeping it usable when out in the boonies with no cell coverage, otherwise I use google maps and spotify through my phone and bluetooth currently.

your system should have came with the iGO navigation. its a hacked with all the license. it works well and when your system is tethered to a hot spot through your smartphone, it will also pick up traffic information and reroute accordingly. I use the iGO because number one, it has local maps on it. if you browse the android folder you will see the app folder called iGO unless they loaded it on a SD card for you. regardless, if it is on the sdcad i suggest you copy it onto the root of your ROM. it will not necessitate the SD Card being mounted every time you turn on your car. it is also local and require less processing and data download such as google maps and waze. i use iGO exclusively and it has all the POIs loaded. One thing i noticed is the version they give you has maps and POIs updated to Q32017. I was able to retrieve more current maps and POIs through GPS nav forum and updated them. It is 4GB for US and Americas but now have the most updated information along with 3D mapping of buildings.

You can also download offline maps in Google maps through the app. It does require you to have a Gmail login but will store the maps locally with POIs according to the area you choose.

    Hope this helps.

Sygic is a gps app that works totally offline. You download the maps to the internal storage. It is paid past the trial though. If you are good at your googlefu though you can find unlocked versions around.

Not sure if they have on this one but I know a few that have the tesla style unit and it runs fine. The tesla style one is a px3 chipset so this one being a px6 should run it even better.
