Dads 60th Bday ideas?

I say go get a couple thick ribeye steaks, some potatoes and ears of corn. Pick a day if you can’t do it on his birthday where just the two of you cook out. Buy him a few boxes of ammunition and take him to the range. Let him know you give a shit. I wish I would have made more of an effort when my father was around. No regrets bro! Material bs is no match for quality time.

As others have said, give the most precious gift of time. Everything else is incidental. Make the most of every moment. Tell him how much you love him. If I only had more time with my old man... fk. Gonna go cry now in the shower.

Yeah, as someone who's not too far behind the 60 mark, my kids generally just come over and spend time. The oldest always makes peach cobbler in lieu of a cake. But cohibas are good too.

Yea, my last great stripper memory was actually my dad and I on a strip-stage tied up with two hot-ass strippers taking our clothes off LOL.

 

Thanks guys! I think we/I do a pretty good job on spending time together, but it could always be better.
I did promise him a Father/Son day reloading up at our place on Kalama river - and do some fishing too. I’m about 2 years over-due on my promise.
I think this thread has helped remind me that I need to follow through with that.
