Cyclists...I need help

    Do a quick check on Craigslist and get a used bike for 100$ then when you know what you are doing get a better one. The 29'ers are good for big men like us (6'2" 240) me. I put hwy tires on mine 29er and puncture proof tubes. Rode every trail and pavement road in Sunriver last year without a flat. The road bikes with 700 tires are faster but lots higher maintenance. Gears are irrevelant, I typicality use one gear for an hour ride on flat ground.get something to start with and then spend the deniro when you understand what's necessary. My road bike is all Italian Campy record, and cost $5,000+ years ago to build.
