    Again I appreciate the inspiration and the warning. I choose to build one today. I decided against the version you did for two reasons which are solely my own:

    1) I wasn't going to cut the steel and fabricate the brackets like you did. Not my forte', and way too much for me.
    2) I don't need a full length box like yours is designed for. A few rectangles of storage that close against the bottom of the seat are plenty good with me.

    Here's what I accomplished today in four hours:

    Since I had a full sheet of plywood, I'm making a second one for one of my employees who has a Tundra and was looking for storage as well. It will be a surprise for him when I return after the Holidays.

    Your design is fantastic and I understand why you made it the way you did. It looks fantastic, and thanks again for getting me off my ass to actually use some skills and tools that were quite dusty.
