    I’m hoping to just show people there are other options you don’t have to spend 600+ for drilled and slotted. If I sold you a cup of water for 5 buck rather than 50 cents does that make it better? Who’s to say the 5 dollar isn’t tap and 50 cent isn’t Voss or some expensive shit? You don’t know unless you try and I have no complaints on these brakes so I’m glad I didn’t spend 600, I’m not sure what they do so good for a 350 difference. And if I have an issue this post isn’t about me being right, it’s about valuing their product. I’m posting pics so you guys can see not just go by what I say because when I was looking at reviews of hart all i saw were words, no pics

    I stand behind Toyota products 100% I’ve worked for them for years and still do, but for people looking to keep the heat away I feel like this is a solid option

    Agree on TOYOTA PRODUCTS just picked up new battery 119.00 same as most , 2yr free replace , 7yr pro-rate, checked on pads only 104.00 and 94.00 per rotor. Thats not bad at all

    Just picked up my powerstop kit today off Amazon. Went with the tow and haul kit for $367 plus tax so under 400. Best price i've seen on that kit to date. Figured I'd throw that option out there if anyone is looking for brakes.

    Apple has brainwashing people on the $5 cup of water being better for years.... You just need common sense (lost among most people today) and see through the bullshit. Some things are absolutely "you get what you pay for" but most things are over-hyped and do not live up to it. When it comes to brakes.... I waited for the TRD 40% sale and got the TRD BBK and it was worth every penny spent and every penny saved.

    New to the forums here. Got to give my 2 cents.
    I've had 2 Honda Civics (1 Si, 1 EX), Nissan Sentra SpecV, Audi A4 Sport USP, Mercedes Benz C350 AMG Sport and either they came with cross-drilled rotors or I upgraded them. When the Audi and MB factory cross-drilled rotors wore out, instead of paying $400 for rears for the Audi or $500 for fronts for MB, I just did them myself with whatever brand was cheapest on Ebay. NEVER had a problem, EVER with any of them on any car. No cracking, warping, anything. Always used Akebono ceramic pads.
    I agree that somewhere, somebody started this "only name brand will never crack" shite. BTW, that pic of the cracked rotors has been circulating on the internet and every other car forum for years!
    I've had Ebay no-name brand cross-dimpled and slotted on my 2013 Tundra CM SR5 for over a year now and no problems and I commute 60 miles/4 x wk, tow a boat every other weekend. I just drove a 2019 Tacoma SR5 for 10 days due to valet hitting pole with my truck and it being in body shop, but I can say the shaking is a Toyota issue. This Tacoma only had 17,000 miles and shook horribly when hard braking. This issue corrected when I switched to new rotors.I bought TRD pads and I'm going to be changing over to them sometime in Dec/Jan.
    And no, I would never jeopardize my families safety, but after driving so many cars with this kind of set up, I feel sure enough to trust them. I've found that instead of a $2-3000 big brake kit, one can change to SS brake lines, C-D&slotted rotors, good brake pads, good brake fluid for a fraction of the cost and have a very decent set up.
    To the OP, good for you doing this yourself and saving a buck or two.

    Sorry for failing on the keeping up on this.
    We are at 173k now still no issues with rotors, however the pads were throwing quite a bit more dust than I like so I swapped to Toyota pads on the same rotor and they seem to grab better and less dust. 0 cracks. 0 warp. Did pick up a 9k travel trailer though had a few trips with it and they do outstanding, 70-0 is maybe 50 ft more than it is without the trailer
