    The Y is still printing but its warm enough today to get some coats of UV clear on these things. Did some sanding first. They look great.

    I get it too because sometimes you can’t put a value on the time you spend on something like this.

    plus, doing it for yourself is fun and adventurous. Doing it for others for $ can become a chore.

    Looking all shiny with the UV clear on them. Just need to get the LEDs in and mounting tape replaced, then attach them to the grille.

    I am definitely not going to be selling these guys. I have a full time job and a family and these are just too much work. I got all the LEDs installed and attached the factory letters to the 3D printed backs. I did have to sand the backs of the letters flat as there is a slight curve to them. I dont want to go back and try to add the curve to the model at this point and reprint everything. Hope to get them mounted to the grille and wired up this evening.
