Looking forward to your experience with these. Even though it will be slightly tougher on them with the HD than a ½ Ton. Can’t wait to read your thoughts on them in snow.

You won’t be waiting long. It was snowing off and on today at my house.

I was a little surprised at how big lugged these tires are in person.

So far the tires ride nice, surprisingly quiet on the freeway at 75 mph. B5B08A91-074F-457F-80E8-1428254392AC.jpg

I can see these tires will pick up every rock in my driveway and toss them into the windshield behind me.

Tried them out in ice, packed snow, and mud.

I mentioned somewhere else on this site that I had experienced flat spot thump with the Cooper tires that were on our truck when we bought it, no big deal, a few miles down our country road and they smooth out, I like them, they ride quietly and feel solid, I'm pretty sure I'd go with them again. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they wear, just need to keep a light foot on the accelerator pedal.

Nice truck. Thinking these will be my next tire to replace my KO2s. Seems to be a good all around tire for everyday driving.

Well, if they made a KO2 that would last on my truck and have the three mountain snow rating, I would have gone the BFG route. Hard to beat the KO2

I do like my KO2,s but they seem to be wearing fast, only have 21k on them and think will be lucky to get anther 10k. They are pretty slick in the rain too.

Don’t some of the AT3 sizes have the three peak rating?

My size does and was a requirement when shopping for tires.

The KOs lose this designation in my size with the mileage warranty compound. I’m not carrying chains in the winter because people don’t know how to drive or have good tires.

Pulled the trigger on a set of the Coopers in 295/70/18 size; can’t wait for them to arrive and get them installed. :)I’ve been on the fence between these and Wildpeaks in this size but apparently the Falken’s are considered unicorns (Unavailable through 3 different retailers). o_O

Yeah ordered the AT3’s. I’m not sure why but I ordered the Wildpeaks from three different online places and all came back saying they were out of stock one told me they reached out to their supplier but could not get any in the size I wanted.

Certainly interested to hear your feedback. I was between those and the Cooper's. The price I got on the Cooper's was a little better so I went with them.

Tires came today via FedEx; man these things look really great. The online pictures don’t really do these tires justice from the tire face to the lug pattern. Can’t wait to get them installed tomorrow and test them out. :bananadance:

Coopers are great tires. I had the AT3 on my old Armada and the ATP on my old tundra. They handled great for a LT tire .

I will be throwing a set on the sequioa when the tires run out.

I still have the ATP sitting in my garage.

Got mine installed today and thoroughly impressed with them. They are super quiet compared to the Toyo Open Country RT’s and for an AT tire look so much better in person. I upped tire size from 33/12.50/18 to 295/70/18 so a little taller and narrower but they ride awesome. We have a snow storm rolling in on Tuesday so can’t wait to try these out.

Think I've been talked into these for my next set as soon as the stockers wear out. Almost got 55k on them right now.

Towed for the first time today with the XLTs.

This may not be the tire at all, and it could be something else like balancing. However, I had a pretty good vibration with them today. I ended up towing in some slop today in the way home and the mud made the vibration go almost away. Hopefully this is just a bad balance.
Now in the mud towing the tires did very well....and it was pretty mucky stuff.

That's how I do mine. I think Toyota recommends just moving the fronts to the rear and the rears to the front without crossing them. I've always crossed the rears to the front on 4wd vehicles.

    A little update:

I took the truck in for a rebalance today. 3 tires were off by .5-1 oz.

Guessing I had a crappy balance.
