That’s a good idea! But I don’t know what color I’d do. Black? Cement like my exterior?

I think he mentioned that he would've clear coated it as well, which I dont think he did originally. You can get clear coat in a can as well... I think it will hold up. If not you can always redo it... It looks way better than how it comes stock in my opinion.

Holding up great so far. A little fading from cleaning. I told @Faht Nocker he needs to add a clear coat for protection as I have yet to do that.

Haha. I know what the differential is, just didn't know that it needed a breather, or why.

I was going to do some work on my Tundra today but the weather does suck. I got a new Kalorik smart hot air fryer so I'm going to mess around with that.

My dad WILL NOT stop talking about his air fryer. But he's dramatic. Let me know how it goes.

that's what I want to do next or wrapping it with carbon fiber. Was it hard to get the trim pieces off without busting the clips ?

I was nervous as hell. haha I got the cup holder one out easy - the trim around the knob was tougher. I had to tape it up because those two pieces are plastic welded together apparently.

Basically, I was being a little too gentle and it wasn't coming out so I got nervous and worked on the cup holder trim... then I nutted up and got the big piece off.

SABM, i relocated the ground wires to the left of the airbox. I Cut a 3" hole into the fender wall and airbox and connected the 2 with a pvc pipe and sealed. Draws more airflow.

Alright. Got it done. 5 coats of paint and 3 full coats of polycrylic.

    9BF520D3-C34E-4765-8F0E-766AC0438ECE.jpg

I don’t think this is going to be very durable. I literally touched it with my fingernail and it took paint off. I’m hoping that it hardens over the next week or so.

While everything was apart, I would have suggested rewiring your console power port direct to the battery rather than to the ignition.
    Cheap and easy.
