Looks cool and unique. Has a very rich tone to it. Can anyone confirm if it has a metallic flake to the paint?

From what i heard Toyota has some sort of agreement/contract with Michelin, so they cant put other tires on it from the factory.

this is a color that definitely looks better in person imo. just like calvary blue. on some cameras its to much of a bright color, and to others its to dark.

I didn’t notice any metallic flake, but it was also sitting in a shaded area.

Didn’t look at the MSRP on that truck; I got my black one for $49,500 out the door (different dealership) including added pocket flares.

Then they should pay the dealers to swap them off when they get delivered.

That's awesome. I tried 6 different dealers and in different locations and states. None would budge on MSRP so I finally found one and was able to get it for $49,040 out the door myself. Just waiting for delivery to be built tomorrow or friday..hope no other delays.

Yeah, I followed plan laid out in a thread in this site. Set a distance you’ll travel, contact every dealership in that radius (with a new/temporary email) and play them off each other. Ultimately the best deal came from my USAA (credit union) online car buying service as they beat my other deal by $500 to get my business.

Agreed! My dealer wouldn't give many any credit for the Michelins. I think I saw that the Taco and 4Runner both get all-terrain on their TRD Pro. I have to think Tundra's Michelin street tires must have had something to do with weight and MPG, since MPG is one of the big arguments against the Tundra to begin with?

I like the color enough that I would buy it if I was in the market for a new truck, also if I were to buy a Ford Mustang the grabber blue(which is very similar) would be my first color choice for it!

I wanted something other than black. Yes the color is awesome but the headaches of keeping it looking clean is crazy. I own two other black on black cars and got tired of the heat and all the little mark that shows up on the paint every day. Plus, everyone gets black or white and I want something unique so the blue was obvious.

I have, they had a DC in white at Dick Poe Toyota in El Paso, seems like they hit the lots before the unveil here at the Fair in Dallas.

Me and @COMiamiFan both posted a video of them. They are color matched and debadged.

Yes, but whats the point of buying it in a favorite color(in this case blue) to have it wrapped? I can understand if only option was Black/White.
