Out looking for the new 4Runner Limited Nightshade for my wife tonight (no luck) and spotted this:



Located at Toyota of Greenville (SC) if you’re interested.

As I suspected, it’s pretty, but that’s a LOT of blue. My wife’s comment was “I’m gonna need you to come down” in regards to that bright blue.

Yea, I’m not impressed. The blue is to much and the PRO needs to get beefier/tougher looking IMO.

It has potential to be aggressive looking. Lifted with some big wheels!!!

Beautiful truck but for me that color would be fun for a few rides and then I would be afraid that I would start getting sick of it. Still hate how that TSS sensor looks in that grill. Just looks unfinished.

 

This is exactly what my son and I were just discussing; but we both agreed it’s not suitable for a daily driver.

 

I like it but think that color would look better as a double cab, post up some pics if you find the nightshade 4runner!

 

It would like nice lifted w 35s
Matte black fender flares
Matte black door mouldings
Matte Black bumper end caps
May be black surround will dull blue a little and pop black out.
Matte black roof between the gutters

My local Toyota dealer has a 4 Runner Pro in the Voodoo blue arriving next month. And it’s not sold yet!

 

Why not?

 

Just feel like the blue would be fun for a bit and then would get tired of it. If I had money to put in it to make it ‘just right’ and not have be my daily driver, then maybe; just couldn’t do a daily driver with it.

 

Hadn’t thought about a double cab; you’re right, it would look great!

I’ll definitely put some pics up if we locate one. These guys had two, both were sold before they arrived at the lot. Said to check back mid-month.

Interesting blue.....Going to agree maybe too much. I wonder if Toyota would offer other vibrant color choices in the future?

 

The more I imagine building, more I like it. People didn’t like inferno on a truck initially either.

 

Used dealer down the street is selling one for close to 45k hahah

 

I get everyone has their own tastes but I love it. I see potential. Throw on some Gundam decals in white/ black and break up that blue and the truck would look awesome. But that's just me. So just got a call and now my truck has been pushed back to build this Thur/Fri...yes in Voodoo Blue

 

That’s what it needs out of the factory. More wheel offset and better rubber. The wheel/tire combo is wimpy.
And no, I couldn’t drive that Color.

 

I'd rock the hell out of it. Bigger tires and be done.
