I would just use a power bank. Haven’t seen one that is actually fast charging or can use when truck is not running. Fast charge for 30 minutes and then unplug should be good for few hours.

Might not be the right place to ask this, but those of you with a full replacement bumper with a winch, how often do you find yourself actually using the winch? I'm kicking around the idea of a new front bumper but worried I'm overselling the idea of the winch and I won't actually use it that often.

Really depends on your needs/off road use. I wheeled my Tacoma decently heavy and used it a handful of times. However, one of those times kept me from being stranded. It's not an extremely expensive mod and the option of self-recovery is worth it to me. Better to not need it and have it vs not have it and need it

If you rarely or never drive off named/numbered roads, don't worry about a winch. Similar to @kappes03, I've winched with my old rigs that were dedicated to trail, and even then it wasn't often - typically screwed something up with an obstacle or was simply not built enough for it. You may have the opportunity to be someone else's savior down the road (literally/metaphorically) I suppose, but not worth the cost out of your pocket imo.

Even if you don't drive off named/numbered roads, they are useful. I've pulled people out of being stuck in the snow in winter just off paved roads.

I am wanting to get a trailer hitch installed on my wifes 2021 RAV4 XSE Hybrid. Any recommendations on a hitch and a place for install? Thanks in advance.

Most u-haul locations install trailer hitches. If you go on their website you can pick out everything that you need and the location for installation.

Can confirm though that Colorado is not the same Colorado I grew up in.. If it was just myself I'd likely be outta here too but all my family has been here for generations so rather not just tuck tail and run. There's still enough good here than the bad. Just sucks the larger cities depict the outcome of the state.

    CA, and NV.

We moved to CO in 2008. I am over the traffic, bs new voting measures, and over the people in general. Many years ago, it was much easier.

I doubt I’ll stay here. Don’t boot me but not a fan of the politics. I’ll leave it at that. Plus it’s gotten so damn busy since I moved here in 90. I just don’t know where to go that I’ll like and won’t have the same issues.
I wouldn’t mind buying something on a lake in Northern MN/WI and spending the warm months there. No fricking way I’m staying the winter.

You might have problems finding any Stste to live in, man. Cities have more people than rural areas. I thought that’s kind of how democracies work. Lol
