Wondering if you found answers.. and now wondering about the heated wiper thing. I have a 2018 DC SR5 and it has heated mirrors... not sure about wipers.. not sure where to even look to find out

    OUTCOME*****
Toyota said in fact per my vin number I have a de-icer for the windshield. The company installed a windshield without the connector. They didn't plug the connector and possibly didn't disconnect the battery when removing the glass. This caused a few blown fuses. $214 Later and everything is fixed. Now I have to go to the glass company and get reimbursed. They clam this has never happened before. We'll see about the outcome with them.

Now I’ve got to find out if I have a deicing windshield. Is there an easy way to tell just by looking at it?

I believe there is a strip at the bottom of the windshield on the inside where the wiper sits, looks like the de icer strips on a rear window.

Scratch that nothing visible. Looking at my window sticker and see no mention but I swore when researching on Toyota's website it was mentioned. I do have heated side mirrors because they have the symbol.

I have heated mirrors as well. That’s what made me think I might have it on the windshield. As well as the button on the dash that turns on the heated mirrors.

I have a windshield icon and rear glass icon on the dash for de-ice/de-fogg whatever they want to call it. The icon on the rear mirror matches the rear window icon on the dash meaning press that and your rear gets deiced along with the mirrors.

Here's a 2016 brochure showing it was a standard feature across all trim levels. It's under Exterior features.

Glad to hear your problem is resolved, this is also a learning lesson for everyone who will do research on windshields in the near future.
