They came with the SDHQ mounts. I'll take pics and do a writeup when I pull the bulge off.

Curious how your hood bulge light bar is holding up? Anything you would change or do different?

    It's been great. Wouldn't change a thing.

I really want a light bar in the bulge. I’m looking to do the front any time cam, hood bulge light bar, and rear window relocation switch all at the same time. Put them all on a 3 switch panel insert on that little credit card holder spot on the center console
Gonna source all the parts. And door it on my day off

Which light are you looking to go with , there looks to be a ton of options. The reviews are all over the map on these. As well are the prices. Seems you can spend $100 or $1000. Seems $1100 for a light bar is a bit excessive IMO

I was wondering how you were going to be able to screw into the nutplates then I read this part. I'll stick with zipties and your JB Weld idea.

haha at 8 times the cost I’m sure it’s a better product. Just trying to justify it. Although I did buy the ss3 Max fogs just because people said they were as bright as the sun lol

I watched enough YouTube side by side comparison videos that didn’t justify the extra $800. There’s enough folks on this forum that have also gave it a very positive review.

Hey man, I ended up buying the same kit based on your recommendation, I also got a Toyota switch to replace the one that comes with it, but every time I try to turn it in it burns the fuse, do you have any recommendations on the install?

this is the switch I got LED Light Bar Push Button Switch with Connector Wire Blue Backlit On/Off Kit Compatible with Toyota Tundra Tacoma 4Runner… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QLR175B?_encoding=UTF8

Something isn't hooked up right if you are blowing a fuse.

You probably have your switch wired up wrong.

So after checking everything twice and buying a new harness, the problem was the actual bar I took it off the truck and dry fitted the harness and everything worked, as soon as I put it back on the bracket it shorted, the light must have something loose inside and it’s grounding/shorting with the bracket. Sent it back and I’m getting a replacement Monday, I’ll update then.
