It was -56 with the windchill when I went out this morning. My heated seats and steering wheel kept me nice and cozy.

my biggest issue is the price, I was thinking order the cheapest version and put 255/70r17 on it to get those duramax mileage for my regular drive down to Detroit, only to find out cheapest one is almost $80k before taxes, that's nearly $18k more than a Tahoe.

At this rate I'm just going to keep put the miles on the truck and spend the money to make it go faster.

Completely agreed. I can supercharge and put in a lot of premium at lot easier and for less than a new model.

My 2019 SR5 had Halogen headlights with LED DRL. I replaced the headlight and foglight bulbs with LED bulbs

My wife's 2020 Rav, came with LED headlights and Halogen foglights.

I know it's a trim level thing, but come on. LED lighting should be standard on all lights, inside and out, on all models.

You don't prefer halogens for when it's snowing?

I haven't noticed any issues with LED in the snow. The bulbs I purchased came recommended from a forum member, who works for Toyota, who said they were great. They are for the $50-60 I paid. I just know the full LED assemblies will be brighter and have better cut off etc.

That said, we do have Diode Dynamic amber fogs waiting for install with the bumber, when the grille parts come in (from our deer strike).

I drove a new rav in a gangster snowstorm, the led lights were terrible, finally flipped on the halogen fogs and it cut right through the snow. Perfect combo imo.

I was thinking primarily of the halogens staying clear due to melting any snow that lands on them. I see a lot of modern vehicles that are not well-lit when it's snowing, especially from behind where the snow is blowing up off the road.

Our backyard oak. The entire forest was the same when I was on my run with Martha.

Hoar Frost, blue skies, sunny as can be.

    Super off topic but….
If anyone is considering a soft tonneau cover, I just installed a Bison branded one I found on Kijiji. They company is Canadian (not made in canada obviously), ships from Ontario, the quality seems awesome and it was $300 to my door step. Install was super easy and it seals up tight.

I have to say.....they do look a bit silly skating around with the tiny trophy

Reminds me of the old McDonalds NHL trophies you could buy with a burger. I have the full set somewhere.

I've decided I hate 3 on 3. It's such a gimmick. If you have to change things up, I'd rather watch 4 on 4.
