I have been using Grave Before Shave products and I like them. They have different scents, and I have tried the viking (natural oil scent) and bourbon.

Gotta get better at using the amish wax. For 1, it's hard to get out of the tin. Been using thumb nail. Or does anyone heat with blow dryer or hot water as I've read online? Right now I've been rubbing the wax in my palms to soften it, but by the time it does it's absorbed in my hands LOL. And maybe I'm not using enough as I don't see any difference in my beard when using vs not using . . .

Not mine. Hard as hell . . . will try using blow dryer to soften it up a bit.

    UGH!
Just got my order today after reading your post and recognized my life was incomplete without this soap.
This stuff smells AWFUL. It smells of old...OLD....1970's era school-nurse antiseptic.
I wanted to like it....I TRIED to like it....no joy. The dry bar smells terrible, the wet, lathered up bar smells worse and the lingering smell on your skin on dry-down is the worst. It has a very faint rancid smell. The ingredient list doesn't list tallow (animal lard) but I get the faintest whiff of what I would best describe as slightly rancid tallow. Needless to say...I'm not a fan.

What? No way, man. Mine smells like peat. And does not stay on my skin like you noted. Weird how we got 2 different results. You got the pine tar one?

My girl snapped this back around Christmas...thought it was somewhat of cool pic.
I make my own beard oil...just a little side hobby I got into a few years ago.

Amazon....triple pack....I believe it to be authentic. The storefront on amazon has a 99% rating and the order was fulfilled by amazon.

But in the pursuit of knowledge, how 'bout we trade a bar for a bar? I'll send you one of mine, you send me one of yours.

Thanks but nah, no thanks! :rofl:Maybe someone else will take you up on this offer. Have you considered returning your order to the vendor and expressing your concerns? Refund? The order I received matches the excellent reviews.

No.....not sure it'd be worth it to ship it back....thought for sure you'd be up for it. Now, you got me wondering if I DID get a bad batch.
Either way Paladin....be careful out there. An old jedi at the academy would often prep us with "stay alert" and we'd sound-off "STAY ALIVE!!"
