I know there are a few Brothers of the Beard on the forum! Post up Bearded Brothers!
Hey if your rockin the man mane post up a pic! Include your favorite beard oil(s) how long you have been a no shave ever bearded brother! I am in the process of “growing a yeard”...aka...a year of nonstop beard.

I stopped shaving when I retired. Wife loves the beard which makes life easy.

One of my go to beard oils is Jack Black..it usually lasts about 4-5 months per bottle. I am in the process of making my own private reserve of beard oil. More to follow as I progress.

My 2 years of growth. I've had a full beard for 3 years. The Bearded Bastard and Beardbrand have been my go to oils, balm and stache waxes.

Congratulations. I can’t grow a decent beard unfortunately. Just the same patchy scrub since I hit puberty thirty years ago. Rocked a goatee for a while, but even then the mustache and beard wouldn’t connect.
I do look fantastic with my chin beard and sweet ass sideburns though.

ok, I am totally green when it comes to this topic. During my employment we were not allowed to have any facial hair the only exception was those who were assigned to Narcotics in a U C role, so what is the reason/importance of beard oil and all the other stuff associated with the beard.I haven't shaved for a couple of days so I might have to try something new. Thanks .:dancingbacon:

At work we don't have to read it, but in my volunteer dept we do. We had to break the banana oil back out a few years ago when our system went down.

Beard oil moisturized facial hair and the skin beneath. Beard oil is hydrating to the skin and helps soften and tame beard hair, which means it also does double-duty as a styling agent. Same with balm helps tame the manmane.

I use mountaineerbrand.com products for my beard. Wash, balm, and oil, and I also use their shave soap and post-shave balm. Timber is my favorite scent from them...very manly.

Mine is not as cool as y'alls beard :(
If it gets too long it's too scraggly and looks like crap. So I keep it relatively short. I started growing one 3 years ago as a result of losing a bowling bet. Like the look and let it go. Shaved in the summer and grew it out again in the fall and it's been on for 2 years straight.
I use oils and balms from www.extraordinarybeards.com Made locally here in Colorado. Best smells I've seen so far. But will be willing to try out @Patriot oils he gets his formula complete.

Patience is hard, LOL. Was thinking of getting a wax to see if that calms it down. I don't want to look like the taliban in the process of growing it

Yeah Honest Amish has a wax that helped mine get through that stage. Manipulating with a little heat will help as well.

Does that wax leave a white or shiny residue? My nephew used a wax once and looked like he had used hardened butter.
