    So looking at the schematic, it looks like I need: 88172,88162, 09182 (3 x 2 ), 84231A (x 2 or x 4?), and it gets a little foggy from there.

Check out Eric’s message above. He apparently has the whole system he is not using because he upgraded his bumper. With sensors and mirrors you will be close up if not all the way there. You also have to have the plastic bumper covers on the rear (non metallic) for the sensors to work properly.

But his option shows Pedestrian detection, just trying to learn something here. So pedestrian detection only detects people and not vehicles?

It detects both pedestrians and vehicles. I think they mention pedestrians specifically to highlight that it can do that also, as opposed to some other cars that can't do that, and only detects vehicles.

In follow up, to clarify, the pedestrian detection mentioned is part of the TSS which is separate from the BSM and RCTA. The TSS is forward, using the sensor in the grill and the camera in the windshield. It can detect pedestrians in front of the vehicle. It is standard on all Tundras - all trim levels.
BSM and RCTA is the system in the rear bumper, and it detects cars in your blind spot while driving, and rear cross traffic alert will pick up cars and/or pedestrians approaching from the side when pulling out of a parking space, for example.
The features shown (PCS w/PD. LDA, SWS, AHB, DRCC) are all part of the TSS which are all related to the forward view. Nothing to the back, rear or sides.

In my opinion BSM and RCTA are by far the two best safety options on the Tundra! I have a cap on the back of my truck that is full of stuff for work, so visibility out the back is almost non-existent. The Tundra is a big truck and has a couple of blind spots and the BSM has saved my a couple times making lane changes on the highway! The RCTA also saved me at Home Depot one morning when I went to back out and some dummy with his head down in his phone walked right behind my truck.
