How do you like them? My son rocks a set of composite pedals and loves them.

They get the job done. Feel solid, have amazing grip. Hardware all feels quality on them, threaded easily.

The one thing I really like about composite, is they always stay true to color. Every scratch is just a same color scratch. Still good from far.

Truth. I think he uses a super double top secret clip pedal they’ve been developing for racing though. Which I’m sure will also be a bagillion dollars but super sick

For where I ride and my prefered style, it straight eats.

From Pisgah gnar to local mellow greens with my groms it’s a smile factory

I was that guy on a different bike every 6 months until I built this one up a couple years a ago.

Looks awesome :headbang: I’ve always loved gum walls and grips. I will go with those when I burn through the tires I have stocked. I have three folded up never touched rear tires on the shelf so it will be a while still.

Thought about an ebike just to tow my 9 year old up to the top of longer descents, but just can’t do it. Maybe if you’re lucky your wife will tow you up after your legs are smoked!

Haha, that is a good option. At this point, the e-bike will help build her riding confidence by gaining the endurance needed to keep up to the rest of the pack.

What is anyone with a 3rd Gen using for a hitch rack that doesn't hit the tailgate when the tailgate is open? I have a Thule T2 Pro that was fine on my 2.5 Gen, but the whole hinge/pivot point housing (for lack of a better term) hits the center of the tailgate because it's a curved tailgate. I can post up some pictures to help clarify if unclear. Thanks!

I had this exact problem with my 2019 Tacoma and Kuat rack. I couldn't open the tailgate without it hitting the rack. So I went to a 1UP Super Duty rack and it cleared on the Tacoma and my Tundra. It's an amazing rack and I wouldn't want anything different.

Thanks, I hadn’t heard about that one but looks pretty stout! I’ll see what measurements they have available, to confirm it might fit a 2022 or newer, though, as my current rack also fit on my 2019.

    You're welcome.
My opinion. This is the best built rack on the market. I do product development/design in the motorsports industry for a living and the quality and build on these is top notch.
If you need a specific measurement let me know and I can measure mine.

I’ve been using a 4 bike Recon Rack for the past 6 years. Folds back enough for the canopy and tailgate to open without contact. Solid rack. 1up acquired the design and name in the past couple years and did a few updates. I’ve used this rack on a transit van, 2nd gen tundra, and my current 3rd gen tundra, was able to open all doors and tailgates no problem when rack is tilted back.
