Picked up a 2016 Trance today - all original parts. Going to get a tune up soon. What are first things you’d replace/upgrade?

I would do that full tune up and go from there. Also try to get some rides in and find the shortcomings of the bike for your style of riding…

If the tires are original I would replace them.

I really liked my Comp 6 Fattie. I wish I would have held onto it a bit longer with the current market.

That's a good bike an yeah I'm real happy with the hardtail. So fun and love how efficient it is. Don't think I will ever get rid of it. But will probably have an all mountain e bike to go along with it in the future

That’s the plan - put some RF Chesters on today, now time to take it out.

I have Chesters on my single speed and my hardtail. On my full suspension I have the OneUp aluminum. The Chesters are excellent but truth be told the One Ups are a level up.

I had Chester’s on my old hardtail. Decided to try composite OneUps on my new full suspension. Definitely an improvement. My size 12s really appreciate the size difference too.

Can anyone recommend a solid budget priced hitch bike rack? It’s only going to be used a few times a year to get the kids bikes out of the bed. Looking at Amazon but would like feedback from other sources. Just has to hold 3 kids(10 year olds) sized bikes. Doesn’t have to lock, as I’m not worried about theft. Don’t care about tilt or swing. Just want something sturdy. Thanks

Oh man, I've spent too much time browsing the first gen section and missed the bike section! Excited to outfit my new rig as a family adventure vehicle. Still weighing options on the cap vs rack routes.

She's a beaut.. I just tossed some 2.60" rubber on mine last week. Didn't like the way the 2.35" ones handled. Screenshot_20210712-231525_Gallery.jpg

Sweet Whip! Love the color! I am running Shirmano XRT Cassette 10-45 with 32T race face front chain ring. Reynolds carbon wheels and race face carbon cranks lighten up the bike with Teravail 2.6 Honcho in the front and a Teravail Ehline 2.3 in the rear. Salsa Carbon bars with Syntance Carbon seat post with the BIG Shirmano front and rear brakes with carbon levers completed the build. Total weight is 24lbs with the pedals. Please dont ask how much $$$ cause it is embarrassing.
