Denver bike to work day today. 11 miles to and fro. Purpose of bike to work is to save burning fossil fuels. But had to drive to friends house first, so F it cause I get to drive this bad as truck :D

Got a new mountain bike. Haven't been on a bike in years ..... and oh man.... I am soooo out of shape. I'm loving it though. It's a Trek XCaliber 9. Also installed a RockyMounts LoBall Track mount - fits in OEM deck rails or the unistrut that I'm using.

Now you need to add some neon green accents to the truck to match :)

I've been wanting to go ride but with all the rain we've had the past few weeks the trails have been closed more often than not :annoyed:

Great stuff. Maybe I should be a forum sponsor ;) FWIIW for the past 8 years I've been making some fancy pants bicycle chainlube which is sold under my label as NixFrixSun ( www.nixfrixshun.com ) and co-branded for Silca as their ProBlend. I also make solid grease for some wheel mfgs. I'm *shillin'* because community is where you find it, I ride every day of my life. FWIIW the Linskey is legit, buy that!

This 20 y/o FSR just keeps cranking out the miles. Well over 30k just goofing around and rode it to work for 10 years. Took it on a rare trip to the ocean, last weekend, for a little seat time. 65b4f96dcff8971dcdb238f9ac1ff60c_f02e043699e08592e6d3a1c6224888b64e8516fb.jpg

    pffft. campy or nothing.

dunno about kevin but i am. just started using it earlier this year. it's been keeping me on track pretty well.

the older i get, the less zone 5 work i do on the road. rollers are a different story. i'll sneak in plenty of zone 4 intervals just to keep my speed up.

nice resting rate. i'm currently in the high 40s. once i start getting into the mid 50s, i know i'm starting to get over trained.

Campy makes beautiful stuff, but I would need a Pinarello, Bianchi or Colnago frame to go with it.

I just picked up a 2018 Specialized Enduro S-works 29er that I have to build up in the coming weeks. I have always used hitch racks (1up), but considering the whole tailgate pad thing.....does anyone know what Tailgate pad fits the Tundra the best and allows use of the backup camera as well as holds the bikes tightly and safely? The newer RaceFace pad or perhaps Fox (although Fox is sold out and I think they have a new one in the works)???
