I 2nd the 1up single rack, mostly because I think they're the only brand that makes a single bike hitch rack.

Third. 1Up is more expensive than the competitors, but they are excellently made.

    Buy once, cry once.

I have the Kuat Transfer 1. I used it on my 4runner hitch but if i used my tundra i used the bed rack mount.

Didn’t realize kuat had a one bike option. Probably a good for the price value!

I use 1 up USA and sometimes my home made rack in the bed with a rocky mount.

just received my KUAT pivot v2 swing arm. very nice piece of hardware. will make it easier when I have 4 bikes on the KUAT rack to get access to bed.
if anyone looking for a pivot V2, rackattack still have couple left.

Just got my @kbvoodoo rack installed and threw on one of the bike racks that I have. Not sure if I like it gets the bikes pretty high. I was trying to come up with a setup where I didn't have to take the front wheels off the bikes. But might just have to bite the bullet and get the kb voodoo bike attachments for the side of the rack. 20201101_110537.jpg 20201101_110552.jpg 20201101_110601.jpg 20201101_110641.jpg

yeah not the best, too high and against the wind. go with a side mount for the rack or hitch rack

We pull a trailer and wanted to take the bikes. But I agree. Side mount for sure.

So I wanted one where I didn't have to remove the front wheel either but the RCI side bike rack won out due to funds. I was thinking about mounting a rack like you have in the pics to the RCI arms. But it would have cost me more than I wanted to spend.

Wonder if you could do that with the KB bike attachments? Bolt them up and then bolt the rack you have to the attachments.

completed a local bike club challenge last weekend with a buddy of mine - ride a prescribed route within each of the 7 local parks here within 24 hrs. Ended up being 64 miles of singletrack, around 9 hrs in the saddle, 5k'ish calories. Was able to split it between an afternoon/eve and a morning. Biking 14 miles of it with bike lights was new to me...even catching some of the features like the skinnies and teeter totters lol. Certainly not a major mountain bike destination or heavy downhill courses here but it's pretty darn impressive to have this in the backyard all within about 15 mile radius in central IL. Stop by and ride with me and talk Tundras if you're in the Peoria, IL area!

@Wallygator KB Voodoo has the same type of attachment. It probably would work but then I would loose the ability to mouth items to the side of the rack.

I've decided to keep using my hitch bike carrier and get an attachment for the RV that will bolt to the bumper and I can use my hitch bike carrier.

My buddy is working in the nursing home environment with Covid everywhere right now and super stressed. He recently snapped his rear derailleur on a PR attempt on a local trail. Fixing him up with a little bit of advice and time was totally worth it to me. Got him fixed up before his riding weekend and sooner than the LBS. His bike now shifts better than mine :D
He re-payed me dearly with a few yummy beers that don’t leave you sober :)

Got the 7 year old daughter out for a ride, down by the river. Spent more time off the bikes than on. Still better than being inside.
