yes I was not a fan of the V1 but the V2 seems to address a bunch of concerns. I also like the locking device like on their bike racks so it's solid once mounted on tow hitch. I have their racks and it has been solid going off road and on logging trails where everything is shaking. However with 4 bikes in tow, it was a pita opening the tailgate and crawl inside to gather the gear or food. I plan on buying the V2 once I can find it for sale online...Kuat is heavily backordered..

well for anyone interested I was just checking REI website and they just got a big shipment of KUAT stuff so if you need rack or pivot swing arm from them, now might be the time to order. Last time I waited 2 months for my bike rack..ugh..

Thanks good to know man on the frame weight! I half seriously keep a look out for a used TB3/4 or maybe a 5010. Agree the swingarm would be the cats meow if we were camping and needed lots of access while still keeping bikes loaded.

My wife rides a fully built up V4 tallboy and loves it. Sometimes wishes she had the hightower/maverick for those rare days we do bike park but otherwise it rips!

So finally got a fork mount in that works with the RCI Metalworks bed rack bike mounts. Had to mount it backwards because of the fork axle and the fact the awning is on the other side.
The problem is now I can't open the tent without taking the bike off first. Probably going to get a plate fabricated so I can mount it with fork facing forward. Despite a few issues to adapt this to my setup, I'm happy with it.

@Wallygator How do you like that off to the side driving? I am putting a KB Voodoo rack on and thinking about doing a similar setup for our bikes.

It's completely fine and doesn't hinder the rear view at all. I mean you can see it but it doesn't block the view. I will try and remember to get pics of it through the mirror and front and back for you.

I'm running a fox racing tailgate pad for now. Easy setup and bikes are secure.

Can anyone tell me what this bolt goes to? There's one on each side behind the seat post. It's on my fiance's Kona , and they contact her leg sometimes. I'm wondering if they can be replaced for something more low profile.

You can remove them if you can keep that hole sealed. Maybe just put some frame protector tape over the hole.

A guy I know in the MTB social scene works for Rubicon Expedition products. They just came out with a pretty nice bike rack. Expensive, but comparable to North Shore or Recon racks price wise. I haven't got my hands on it yet but a quick walk through was pretty nice. Their tent system is nice, considering you can detach it and leave it setup. I already have an RTT and need the hitch for my bike rack. I have a North Shore rack myself but it does rub the fork and it sits low. I ended up blowing a carbon wheel apart when I backed up a steep driveway and it caught the wheel and compressed it against the rack. Coulda been worse I guess.

Anyone riding a Polygon xtrada 7 bike? Seems like it’s a ship to your house bike with some minor assembly.

Here are a couple pics for you..sorry I don't have any with the bike on there yet but you can see the rack does not hinder the rearview.
