They have different models now so I can't speak for every model, but this model works for sure:
    https://www.1up-usa.com/product/2in-super-duty-double-bike-rack/

I do know the Kuat NV didn't work with the tailgate hitting part of the rack

    still here.

wasatch still has snow on it and prospect basin is closed for elk calving till the end of the month. bike park opens 6/25 but it’s no longer free. looks like even the xc trails will require lift ticket except maybe see forever. it’s pretty quiet up here, most of mountain village is closed, so haven’t been able to ask for specifics.

yeah, they changed it last year... need a lift ticket to ride all of it now unfortunately. How about riding on the other side of the hill in the Durango area?? I'm going to try the Engineer loop tomorrow. I've heard most of the snow is gone, just hope it's not too muddy.

Nice! I haven't been on it yet this year, but heard it's all clear. The wildfires around here are starting to cause major issues with air quality though, so hopefully cleared up by the time you get here. It's been really bad. Lost ski season to covid, so if I lose bike season to wildfires I'm going to lose my frickin' mind!

not sure i want to drive all the way over there. attempted wasatch trail loop this morning. made it about 2/3 of the way up to bridal veil and the legs went kablewy. came back into town and was able to make a lap on the village trail off the gondola. no lift ticket needed for that yet. i may just make laps on that tomorrow as my downhill skills have seriously faded. amazed at how off i was but i haven't been on the dirt in close to a year.

they have cut some pretty impressive new trails. looks like some big jump lines. quite few new wood features too. it's nice to see them making the investment. we might be coming back in august so if i can get some bike handling skills back, i'll probably give the park a try. i've always liked riding here.

tuesday was really bad here. town was completely filled with smoke. from down in town you could barely see bridal veil and all the upper peaks were completely gone. cleared up some but it's pretty smoky today.

crossed that on my climb up scotch creek the other day. conditions are pretty good. some decent water crossings and a few good sized puddles but i imagine it'll be fine in a few weeks.

think i'll go put the truck back in the dirt this afternoon. for as quiet as it is here, there's still a bunch of nimrods on the trails...

Can't go wrong with either of those. I've always been a park tool fan, but have buds with the Feedback sports and those are top notch too. The one Scott linked looks pretty sweet. I have an older model which has two legs, so probably not intended for portability. Still light enough to pack around though.

I was really bummed when they required a lift ticket (I rode free for years), but after a year of stewing over it I do accept it. You're right, they have built some very nice trails and should charge to maintain.

I did make it to Engineer today. Weather was great and smoke free! still some snow and mud in spots but overall it was clear.

My 2009 Haro X3 I just rebuilt the brake setup and cranks/BB.

2015 Kona Lava Dome I finally upgraded the fork on. It's just a Rock Shox Recon, but coming from the stock Suntour with no damping it feels much better. Only got it setup last night as I was waiting for a crown race installer (got the Park Tool 15.2 and Wolf Tooth install adapter. This lets you use the PT larger tool meant for 1.25" and 1.5" steerers for 1.125" steerers for a fraction of the price of getting both the PK setters). I mainly use it for things a gravel bike would be ok for, but our roads and bike paths are pretty rough and all the sidwalk transitions and stuff I wouldn't really want to torture myself on with a road bike. I also use it on my Tacx trainer for Zwift.
I don't travel with it much, but the only time I did I just loaded it up like a dirt bike:notsure:.

Just picked up my first bike today in about 10 years. Finally found a 2021 model Marlin 5 in stock about an hour and a half from my house and went to pick it up this morning. Had to lay it down today and it rode just fine. Pretty pumped but looking for a way to haul mine and my fiancé’s bike. Should I go tailgate pad or hitch rack?

Went for a ride at our local flagship trail called High Froller today. I took a hard scorpion faceplant on the top edge of a fast berm when my front tire slide over the top. Broke my visor and got a mild concussion along with a decent neck tweak. I feel like a knob since I wasn’t wearing my neck brace, and my neck is the sorest part on me now. Other than the wipeout and feeling shity now, good ride and nice views. The physical abuse is worth the mental health haha.

edit: though next time neck brace in the proper place.
