I posted this over on tacomaworld, the sale ended so we got LUCKY to snag these babies up at half price.
The XL are the same material and absorbency as the medium? I assume they are, if the XL works as well as the other one, I will be a happy man. I know drying cam add swirls, but these definitely help cuz it's only one pass per panel and its dry. I always wash in hot water with MF detergent and dry on no heat tumble. All my MF has stayed in great shape, especially these griots towels, I am super careful with them.

Bummer...I took too long shopping for other stuff to buy. The MF sale is over, but still got some polishing pads with the discount.

I have had great luck Machine washing and drying. I always use MF additive and hot water to wash maybe a dot of rode free and clear detergent, no fabric softener, and only wash MF in the load. Then dry on low to no heat, no dryer sheets allowed. Some add distilled vinegar in place of MF detergent, but I buy when it's on sale so I have plenty, so I havent tried vinegar yet

Truth is don't matter what you buy, its how well you take care of your towels. From washing them to storing them. After every use I clean mine out either with a little of dawn soap reg. scent or if there more dirty with simple green I make up. I use my hose at jet stream setting while holding the micro in my hand to wash out, then ring out and hang up to air dry. Once dry I have a bucket for only good towels I put in and build up for the washing machine or if I have enough micros machine wash them right away. I use cold to luke warm water with regular scent tide. No scented or softener. I've seen that there's a micro wash for the washing machine but yet to try. Also if your washing machine has extra rinse use it. I extra rinse my twice, with delicate wash. We have a front loader machines. (always asking wife how to use by the way, high tech machines, wife can use phone to start them, unbelievable in my book.) After that I either air dry on dry rack or dry in dryer lowest heat setting, I use delicate setting with ultra low heat setting no dryer sheets, (also a front load dryer.) Key is to separate the micros while you wash them. If I'm using a wash wax spray or a detailing spray I wash them together. If I'm waxing I wash them together. Since I basically clean them after every use I can wash both together at once. Once they get soiled to where my taste is enough, I retire them to use on household cleaning, or door jambs, engine compartment. But like I said its all about proper care. You take care of your truck right? take care of your detailing supplies too. Some of the micros I've been using I cant tell if there new or used because I've learned to take proper care right away after every use. Just like my truck it only feeds on top line gas, 92-93 oct. and only from certain gas companies. no wawa, no sheetz, no turkey hills, etc.

@Pudge I'm blown away. I did a wash today and it truly was a single pass using the XL PFM. You were correct that waffle weaves have nothing on the PFM. I am a believer!

It weird getting so excited over a towel, it is unreal how good these are. Once you use them you'll understand what all the hype is about, it's hard to describe just how good these are.

When you go from using multiple towels and multiple passes, to using a PFM and one pass, then you understand. Wish I found out about these sooner. Plus, our big ass trucks already take long enough to clean, so having this towel just makes it that much easier...and more enjoyable now.

I've been through several drying towels. It took a lot for me to part with 38.00 when the original PFMs came out, but it was money well spent. All of my waffle weaves became relegated to spray wax/drying aid towels.

Wife pushed her Norwex stuff on me to use on my truck. I’ll just say their dry and buff car cloth is amazing for drying my Black Tundra. The buff side removes any bug guts I might have missed. I haven’t told her yet though. I’ll never hear the end of it if I do.

Good price. Wait til you use these things, you will see what all the hype is about. It's hard to believe that anyone would get a hardon over a drying towel, until you use a PFM. Its probably one of very few things I have bought (not detailing stuff, just in general), that lives up to or exceeds the hype surrounding it.

Autogeek has these Griots pfm towels on sale again. This size can dry your while truck without wringing it out. One pass drying is really something to see, you won't believe it till you see it
