Most toppers can easily handle a couple kayaks. I wouldn't RTT one though. Doesn't take long to throw up a ground tent. Doesn't take long to throw up too much beer either.

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
I talked with my local ARE and Snugtop dealer(s) yesterday about this.
ARE (Z series) roof was rated to 250lbs
Snugtop (rebel) roof was rated to 500lbs
*I am sure it would depend on the model/options of the topper tho.

My local Snugtop dealer had a cross cut of their topper and an ARE. Snugtop defiantly has more material in the roof structure, although the Snugtop was almost 2x the price.

Put it on Denver Craigslist. Can't hurt.

I’m not really that interested in selling it. If someone buys it, I get a topper. If nobody buys it, I have an RTT

Got my topper of Craigslist. Maybe you could find a white one. Doubtful because white is so fast...

    Yup

I either get enough to pay for a topper or I keep the RTT. I’ll be fine to sleep in the boonies with either

Got my cap for 50 bucks, nothing pretty the windows and screens were good, didn't leak. Knew I would beat it up where I take it. Stayed toasty warm and dry thru many stormy rainy nights. Put it on at dealership, it was on my 2013 when i traded it in, they laughed at me putting my 50 dollar cap on a brand new truck !
