Nope. I like the contrast, and I think that having black lug nuts on a black wheel cheapens the look. It reminds me too much of people that paint their rusty wheels flat black without taking them off the vehicle because they're too lazy or they're trying to hide something.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got it. You put a lot of thought into that decision! Looks good.

The truck came with chrome lug nuts....

But that's still my perspective.

...and the truck has other chrome/red/black.

It all makes sense and comes together nicely with your truck.

Mine are not Pros, but they are essentially the same wheel. Weighed them myself and they come in at 27 lbs. I bought them new from a dealer a few months ago.

Do these use the same lugs as the Off-road package rims. I have 5 of those currently and am considering upgrading to these down the road. Just wondering if the OR in the spare position would mount directly up if I get a flat without carrying extra lug nuts? Basically don’t wanna 5 of these or carry extra lug nuts for the spare! Thanks.

My OR wheels had chrome lug nuts. The black lug nuts I bought from McGeorge were identical except for the color. I can send the part number if you need.

    A bunch
Same lugs. Just changed last week from the TRD OR winter set to my TRD BBS on my summers. The hole on the BBS was tighter and had to be centered almost perfectly to get the lug nut on, but once I got it hand threaded I just went around 3 or 4 times with the impact to ensure its centered on the 5 lugs.

No worries! I think I’ll keep the chrome. Are the TPMS the same as well?

My TPMS are for a 2016 model and I bought new OEM to be sure they last as long as possible. The TPMS part number is 426070C070 and it cost $63.17 ea. from McGeorge. The "fit kit" P/N is 044230C170 and it cost $5.90 ea. The black lug nut P/N is PT0760C20002 and cost $14.06 per pack of (5).
I seem to recall Toyota changed the TPMS P/N after year model 2017, so best to check for your 2019 Tundra if buying new. The 20 degree TPMS used on the OR wheel should fit the BBS Pro wheel the same - mine fit perfect.

Thanks Man! I love 'em. Noticeable improvement in ride quality over the stock 20 inchers. The red TRD center cap also ties in nicely with my Barcelona Red:thumbsup:

I bought mine not for their matte / satin finish, and not for their ease of cleaning either (they have a lot of pockets that trap dirt), I bought mine because they are the lightest OEM wheels available. The A/T tires that came with the wheels were a nice bonus. Chrome lug nuts, standard valve stems, and custom center caps work for me.

    IMG_7908.jpg

Any chance of winter precipitation will end here in about a month, and that's when I will remove the winter white alloys and A/T tires and replace them with the lighter forged alloys and M/S tires... that will be a good day.

Maybe I'm wrong but to me, matte and flat mean the same thing. IDK. These terms are all very subjective but there definitely are part numbers for two different finishes.

Ya, there may be some sort of esoteric descriptive difference, but I certainly have no clue what it is. But like you, I would simply define them as perceptive.

Correct - my point being that Toyota uses the terms matte and flat interchangeably (which at least to some are the same) but in reality the term satin is probably a better description. To me they all look the same.

I googled it and read matte has more gloss than flat, which is my understanding. Also read they are the same....who knows?! Cheers

I think what might be ideal would be to be able to have all variants present in person to make a direct comparison under the same lighting conditions. But that'll likely never be available to me....

PT960-34190-02 Satin Black w/PRO logo (2019 Tundra TRD PRO) - these are the rims I have, they def have a satin (gloss) sheen to them. I would not describe them as "flat".

Side note- I purchased a spare rim from a member on this site, 34190-02, he said the spare did not match the finish of his 34190-F2 set
