I know dis old, but In case people still haven't seen it - these have been available on the BD website for several months now along with a SquadPro version (that was released well before) that uses 4 Squadron Pro units rather than 6 individual S1 units.
If you're thinking "well the 4xSquadPro would be MUCH brighter than 6 S1's" you might be surprised...
The Squad pros emit 4095 lumens (per BD)
    An S1 emits 2320 lumens.
    4x SP =16,380
6x S1=13,920 which is only a difference of 2460 lumens, or a little more than 1 S1. In the grand scheme of things, that isn't a ton of light. If you're running a light bar as well, then unless you have highly tuned lumen detecting kung-fu going on, you won't even notice.
If you are going for MAXIMUM photon blasting abilities at all cost, then the Squad option is your method.
Imo, the S1 option gives you max flexibility while the SP option is max output.

I’m in San Diego, has anyone ever popped into Baja Designs? Will they discuss build options and help figure out optimal solutions or do they just retail online and to dealers?
