Sooooo impressive!! That video is definitely full of talent and amazing results. Maple leaf ones I think were awesome.

I have a couple of cool (at least to me) wood tables.
One is a 4x10 cedar outdoor table that I built myself. Works perfect for the outdoor parties and should last forever. 4x4 frame with all ceramic coated bolts and screws.
Other is the walnut top on the kitchen island. Its 18" wide and has a total length of 25'. 17' can be sat at and it has two 4' sections that waterfall down to the floor. I got a matching 18"x36" cutting board to match. These were built by a local company and they did an amazing job

Thanks. We wanted something you can sit 10 at, this is what we came up with. Wife wanted quartz, I wanted butcher block, so we compromised and I think it came out awesome.
The outside table is perfect for bbq's and crawfish boils

It’s like nothing I’ve ever had. Things I’ve used it on:
    -smoked/bbq chicken
    -whiskey drinks
    -wife
    -pancakes
    -French toast
    -Waffles
    -smoked/bbq ribs

Amazing, pure maple syrup. I strongly recommend buying at least one. Great taste and support a Tundras member.

I helped my dad replace his deck years ago and used the stairs to make our dining room table.

    Started with this:
    1-OriginalStairs_zpsfce7fcd3.jpg
    Then this:
    2-Roughtabletop_zps01fa530b.jpg
    3-MilledandCuttoSize_zps4c56b3b5.jpg
    Stained and polyeurethane applied:

    IMG_20140413_131256_104_zps34f1bef8.jpg

    Finished with matching bench:

Not super fancy, but I like the farm style look.

I tried to make my own chairs when I built my table because they are super expensive.

    IMG_20140323_193041_786_zpsc3917f2e.jpg
It was my first attempt at making a chair, and it broke when I sat in it. It was just like in the movie The Patriot. Anyway, I ended up buying a set of 6 chairs off Craigslist for like $50. I replaced the bottoms and reused the foam because that part was still fine. My mom helped me reupholster them.
    Diningchairs2_zps20fe376f.jpg IMG_20140626_132711_9661_zps4dc73b66.jpg IMG_20140626_131740_4801_zps76c9fa32.jpg

Turned out pretty good I think.

That chair you made looks really nice. I'm sorry to admit I'm laughing my ass off that it broke when you sat in it lol. It looks well made and planned out. The new chairs looks good too. Nice work

Sorry - but I laughed out loud about making the chair and then sitting in it - breaking it. That had to have taken quite a bit of time, and been prettt Fing frustrating! LMAO!!
