Yeah the low version is if you have one touch down on just the drivers side and the high is if its on driver and passenger. The constant power just gives you the ability to open and close your windows with the remote.

Yeah my remote won’t work to roll the wi does down….it tries and just jerks for a second and stops. But it doesn’t matter to me. I have no need for that feature

Yeah I rarely use it to roll the windows down but its really handy when you get out of the truck and your windows are down and you lock it and the windows go up automatically.

This makes sense. All the videos I’ve seen says run power to battery for constant 12v. I’m thinking there has to be 12v constant inside the door somewhere?

The autoloc video shows constant power in the 2020 platinum. Is there constant somewhere in the door panel on my 2013 SR5 I can tap?

Follow up question on the 3wliner low mod. After install do the passenger windows go up/down with one touch from the passenger door switches?

For people that have installed the 3Wliners low module...do you have to run the constant 12volt power if you don't plan on using the remote feature?

I just installed mine yesterday. I tested it without the power wire connected. It didn’t work so I tapped a constant 12v wire going to my mirror control module which is mounted on the door behind the door panel also. All good after that.
It was really simple and plug and play except for the power wire. The features are nice and it works seamlessly. My biggest issue was trying to find a good spot for the window control module. There isn’t a lot of space between the door and door panel.

Please let us know if any issues arise with the constant tap. I’m going to be doing the same thing.

    While it will work.
I would suggest running it directly to the battery as they suggest. Window motors pull a lot of power and you are running two motors at a time when you use the remote.
It’s likely best it be it’s own circuit and not shared with anything else in the event there is an issue it won’t harm any other electronics.

It is easy enough to run it directly to the battery.

You are correct but laziness has gotten the better of me. I may run a dedicated wire to the battery at a later date.

Has anyone found a good power source for doing the rear window one? Id rather not run a wire all the way to the battery. Also in the video he runs a ground to the battery why cant we just ground it at a bolt near the back window somewhere?

The ground can go to any local grounded bolt.
