Yeah it looked like it would be pretty easy to add this module to get it working.

No you have to use the module they are talking about in here and cut wires. I chose not to do that. Not worth cutting up my harness to save me from holding down the switch IMHO

Edit - for the non 3wl option if I saw the vid correctly, to do the rear you'd have to buy another unit just for the rear, even if you had one up front.

    Great video, thanks for sharing.
Anyway I can make it work with the car remote? say when I lock the car with a long press it closes all windows?

Buy the 3WLiners module. You get auto up down on all the windows except the CrewMax rear. You also get control up and down from the factory remote.
    https://www.3wliners.com/product/toyota-tundra-window-control-module-low/

1 plug and play module no wire cutting or splicing.
Best $95 I have spent on the truck hands down.

The autolocs are nice and all but you have to install one for each window and splice wires. A whole lot more work and more money.

I want to add the autoloc unit for my rear window but have a pretty strict no cutting splicing of the factory wires policy.

I bought the harness to move my rear window switch to the other side of the steering wheel. Wondering if I can tap into that harness and mount the module under the dash instead of doing in the rear?

Did you have to run a wire to the battery? I'm still a little confused on the high , low units?

Yes you have to run a power wire to the battery in order for the remote function to work properly. Its really not bad to do though. The low unit is for truck with drivers side auto only. The high is if both driver and passenger side are auto.

    Thank you

Running the wire is something he fails to show in the video, which is probably a no brainer, but I would like to see before pulling the trigger.

You just have to run it back through the door into the truck and there is a grommet going through the firewall right there on the drivers side.

New I checked their website and they have only the low, there is no high which I'm guessing is what I need based on your explanation.
Where can I get the high option?

I guess maybe they are out of stock of the High version. When I ordered mine a few months ago they offered both.

That was part of the problem when I did this, their “high” option was out of stock every time I checked and they had no clue when it would come back in…these modules are definitely a little more work, but it’s not hard at all…can do all 4 doors, and the rear window in an hour or so if ya are familiar with wiring….if not it’ll take a little longer but following my video it’s super easy…the 3w is definitely more convenient if ya can get your hands on it…let me know if I can help!

Thank you for your help. The modules you put are gonna be a great addition if they can be linked to the remote control, are you aware of a way to do so? or any other solution?

No problem!…if I’m not mistaken I’m almost positive there is a way to link them to a remote, but I chose not to do it…their website says it’s linkable to any remote and there are 2 wires I didn’t use (blue and grey if I remember correctly, I know I show them in video)…those 2 wires I believe are how you hook them up with remotes, but let me try to do a little more research and find out for ya

Thanks a lot man, much appreciated.

I have taken a look at the instructions and seems there is a way, but I"m not sure if this will work for the two front windows as they comes with Auto function already!! and if so, that will mean that I have to buy two more units just for the integration, right?

    Remote Operation
In most cases it is possible to roll up or down your windows by remote if your vehicle is equipped with an alarm or keyless entry unit. If you don't have a keyless entry unit, or alarm please contact us at 800-873-4038. (NOTE see box to right if you already have anAutoLoc, or Stellar alarm/keyless entry unit.)

    1. Locate your alarm/keyless entry unit's trigger wires. This wire will send a negative "-" charge when you pushyour alarm/keyless entry unit's remote.
    2. REMOTE UP: Connect the alarm/keyless entry unit's negative trigger wire to the GREY wire.
    3. REMOTE DOWN: Connect the alarm/keyless entry unit's negative trigger wire to the WHITE/BLUE wire.

    Remote Hook UP

If you have already installed an AutoLoc, or Stellar Alarm Keyless Entry unit then do the following for remote windows.Install the window control modules on each window.ROLL UPStellar/AutoLoc's remote unit's PURPLE/WHITE wire to the GREY wire on the BMW1T unit.ROLL DOWN
    • Connect the Stellar/AutoLoc's remote unit's PURPLE/WHITE wire to the WHITE/BLUE wire on the BMW1T unit

I'm guessing you installed the Low version, does your car already have automatic window for driver only? Or both?

I installed the low version also, but it blows a fuse everytime I hit a switch. I don't think I nicked a wire but I'll have to see if maybe something got pinched.

make sure each harness is seated properly as well…..and that no pins got bent when you plugged it in. Mine took a pretty good amount of force to “click” into place

For those of you who ordered the 3wliner “low” module,

how long did it take to receive it after placing your order?

also for those of you who have installed it have you had any issues after a few months of use? Still recommend?

Can the 12v constant be tapped somewhere inside the door panel to avoid running all the way back to the battery?

The 3wliners module is plug and play; no need to run anything to battery

You do have to run a power wire to the battery but its really easy.

Oh my bad - I have the “low” version - but I will be damned if I didn’t remember that I had to run a power wire
