Appreciated! Would the turtle wax hybrid still be ok to use during washes after I use the 3-1? I would think the extra protection would be ok.

I've still got a little HD Adapt left. That used to me my go to for polishing / light correction.

alright. Plan on doing a 3 step if your willing otherwise just order a aio. I would

    wash/wheels
    Iron x
    Rinse
    Clay
    Wash

    then
    Griots compound
    P&s polish
wipe down before next step with eraser or IP
Go to advanced or auto zone grab a bottle of griots 3-1

the car should look great and be protected for 5 months. You can find all the info you need on 3-1 in the thread created by war machine.

if you need pads order hdo lake pads they hold up very well.

I think this should do it for ya and keep the amount of stuff you have to purchase minimal.

what do you use for wash?

Is 300 to much to have someone to perform buffing and waxing?

No. I would charge in the neighborhood of $500 but that would include all necessary steps including decon and clay as well as a sealant using top products. That would also include light interior detail (vacuum clean trim shine trim widows) keep in mind this is what I would charge friends. Most my family gets hooked up for $200ish so $300 seems fair.

I’m not a foam cannon user but when I do use them it really is for pre-wash. I would still get out the buckets and MF rags to do a proper hand wash.

Also one more thing I like to order products when getting paid for vehicles so you may want to just order a good aio some ironX and whatever else you need. Maybe throw in a bottle of eraser by CarPro. You should then have everything you need.

Yes but I don’t order these high end chemicals on Amazon unless it is fulfilled by pbm (palm beach motoring) I think that’s what it stands for. I always order from autogeek detailed image autotopia they have great sales sign up for the newsletters and you will get a coupon.

I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s recently become available at most Auto Parts stores.

    https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...uiar-s-iron-removing-spray/drtu200232/6450132

Definitely a lot cheaper than Iron X and can be had locally. I’ll give it a try at some point, but it would be nice if someone else checked it out. (Supposed to be a lot less stinky also.)

Not out of the ballpark high....but I'd be wanting more than a wax for 300....at the very least, a sealant

Nice to have other members here trying out new products here and sharing the results. I can't wait to have my garage back my truck has seen better days and its driving me nuts. Again I need to go to the junk yard and grab a test piece for products. The top members on this thread got my system down and I stick with it but its fun to try things out and compare.

I've definitely learned some stuff on here. I haven't been getting to take care of my truck much these past few weeks, but hoping I can change that this Friday. I plan on taking the morning to get some work done on her. Hoping to get that Meguiar's spray clay iron remover and do the truck with it, try out a 3 in 1 wax on it, then top it with some beadmaker. Prob spray my wheels with the ceramic refresher that came with them since they were coated before shipped out. Between hurricane and kids, I haven't had much time to do any quality washes on either of our vehicles.

Yep us gulf coast states have had our hands full with weather for proper cleaning throw kids into the mix and time gets slim. Before you top with bead maker give the truck cure time I would recommend 24hrs and pull it into the sun for some of that so it cures really well.
