I will be moving everything into the basement today from my garage. It'll stay there til April. We get well below freezing so I don't wanna risk anything. I keep everything in plastic totes so its an easy move every 6 month.

My buddy who has white tundra stopped by today while the kids were playing I sprayed undercarriage with Fluid Film. He was checking out my garage and asked wtf all the detailing stuff was, I explained a few items and he said he hasn't washed his truck in months. He thought I am nuts for having all that stuff. What is Pretty crazy to me is not washing it for months, and when he does its automatic drive throughs but it did look just fine. I did a demonstration of hydro2 and he was blown away how it worked. That truck needs decon, clay, and a polishing really bad. It's tough to realize how bad it is, cuz the color hides the filth, maybe I'll talk him into paying me for a decom wash, clay, and sealant.

Ask db but I'm pretty sure it's best to put nothing on it. I've had mine for years and do nothing but power wash and soap. Still looks brand new like the day I got it. If I recall correctly I think certain things can actually hurt it and they say not to use. Both my db and side steps are linexed. U guys are correct it comes from db with the linex coating. On both I do nothing but wash with power washer and foam cannon soap. 9 times out ten just hitting with a power wash makes them look new and clean. I forget exactly what db says not to use on it, but I do remember reading something in the care instructions that a product containing something in particular is to be avoided. Wish I could remember exactly and be more help, but I'm guessing you can find it in your care instructions for this DB. If not, lmk and I'll dig it out for ya.

I reorganized and went through all my stuff yesterday. Hopefully I can keep it that way.

One thing I noticed.....the only product I don’t have multiple brands of is tire cleaner. Wise Guy is so far ahead of everything else I’ve tossed or given away the rest.

Amen, literally the most amazing tire cleaner. My tires look brand new almost 2 months in and have had many days of rain and snow and they still look like I just cleaned them

Your situation is similar to mine. I've not moved my stuff out of the garage and haven't had any issues. Any carnuba-based products, however, get moved inside when it gets really cold or really hot

Was kinda surprised how well the Cover All did. Someone got stuck and I had to go pull them out. Lots of muddy water was all over the side of the wheels/tires. All of it came right off the tires, and of course the muddy water was beading on my wheels, but still had to clean them when I got home. I didn't even have to rinse off tires when I got home. I buy the Cover All in the gallon jug and spray it, but after I get new wheels/tires, I don't think I'm going to utilize tire shine any more. Especially to make sure I have ZERO sling while running around -20 offset. Cover All does pretty well as long as I spray normal the night before....but just to be sure. I'll prob just use tire cleaner.

You are probably the 4 or 5th person to say this. I think I will have to try some out. I haven't heard a bad review yet. Thanks for posting this and lightening my pocket

If you go to O'Reilley's, they sell it by the gallon for about 30 bucks. Can cut it if you want when you get home to apply in your liking. I apply it straight. Have to ask for it though, since they don't keep it on their shelf, but behind counter/in the back. It goes a long way.

@Jim LE 1301 recommended it to me a while back, and I really like it. It works great on the fender wells, nerf bars, and Bakflip cover. It also works great on tires and lasts pretty well. I still like Waxaddict better for tires, but this is a great option for a quick shine up.
I also used it on the wheels on my daughter’s Tundra and my wife’s old Sequoia. The wheels on both are pretty oxidized. While it’s only a temporary fix for that, it worked great to get them looking black and shiny again. I also put it on my own wheels once for a quick shine up. Works great for that.

The only issue is that it needs to be buffed off more than some other products, especially on the nerf bars. It lasts longer and works better than anything else I’ve tried for those, but they’re pretty slippery after application.
I’ve also only used the aerosol version, which is a bitch if there’s any wind at all. Next time I’ll buy the gallon jug like @Fotnot mentioned. It should be a lot easier to apply from a regular bottle. 30 bucks for a gallon is a great deal. I think I pay 10 dollars each for the aerosol can, which doesn’t go super far.

There's no O'Reilly's close by so I buy what I can when I see one. Never had luck finding a store with the gallon jugs.

When you used it in wheel wells, did it attract dirt/mud/dust? I've thought about utilizing it on those areas as well as nerf bars(just not on step parts) but wasn't too sure.
You can look on Superior's website and they have it on there. Shipping may get ya though. Also more expensive on their website https://superiorproducts.com/

So....speaking of things along these lines.....what about bedliner? I don't want to shine/grease it up, but clean it up and take the dullness out. Suggestions?

I've seen that, but hard to justify spending that much on my bedliner thats usually under a bed cover, but also i use mine for all kinds of stuff that'll dirty it up. how's the longevity of it under "pressure"?

There’s some rejuvenator spray that came with some of our trucks. I never used mine, but @NewImprovedRon said it worked very well. Unfortunately the bottle didn’t have any brand or numbers on it, and I don’t have the bottle anymore. Maybe the Toyota dealership sells it, or an auto parts house.

I had tried using mine after sitting in the cabinet for a few months and it wouldn't come out. Was clogged and when I opened it, it was all messed up/broken down. I put a little bit that I could in a small spot and it seemed to do well, but yes, no name/numbers/code/etc. on it.

That is one of the few Shine Supply products I haven’t used, but it looks similar to Reload. I haven’t actually applied anything to mine, outside of a spot with Adams Spray Ceramic. I wouldn’t recommend that for any situation.

Looking on Google, there seems to be a good variety of options, but not sure what works best. Rhino has a product called Rhino Shine that’s made for it, but it wasn’t available on Amazon. Solution Finish would probably work well, but that would be expensive.

Considering how I use mine sometimes for things like wood/rock/mulch/dirt, I may end up just attaching the 4" bristle brush head to my drill and do a good cleaning/scrubbing on it. I'd also hate to put anything on it that could either fade it more with chemicals, or make it greasy/slippery.

I use the little flat one on my tires to do a good scrub/clean on them and it's made it easier. have to be careful of course to not hit on your wheels and potentially scratch them.

I had it anyway. I didn’t buy it just for that! And I have three kids, so not rich yet!

For those without garages or shops...any recommendations on a pop up canopy that won't break the bank?
