I've been using a damped microfire towel to wipe down the dash board. Any other suggestions? I don't like the shiny amoralllook.

    Shine supply clean and shine
    Carpro perl
    Aerospace 303 protectant
I have used and like all these of those products. The clean and shine is nice because it cleans and protects, Perl is a nice protection product and can offer a satin to gloss sheen depending on how much you use. 303 is a good UV protection product, doesnt last as long but is cheap and readily available

Any idea on how to remove dried concrete from paint? I was driving down the road and a crew was pouring concrete. I got some splatter on my truck. When I got home I got most of it off but last week I noticed there are several spots on the roof. I tried to take it off but it’s not budging. I tried a clay bar but it also won’t grab. 1C666E43-90F7-4BFB-B1CB-39C63D2CC780.jpg33B874E8-81D4-4EBA-B267-BCA5C341ACD3.jpg

Yikes that's a tough break. I think I would try to soak those areas in some foam if you have a foam cannon. Or maybe some stoner tarminator, or carpro trix, hopefully something will soften it or lift it a little. Maybe @SouthBoundSteve or @briarpatch will have an idea

I do have a foam cannon. I also have one of those hand help pump sprayers, I tried to let it soak but it didn’t really do anything.

Maybe a toothpick or something you can try and get under the spots to try and lift it off the paint? The concrete isn’t going to bond with it, so it should come off easily. Just don’t do anything that rubs it horizontally. I imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to remove, just have to avoid scratching the paint.

I have a friend in the cement business, and he told me they use a product called Back Set. It's not uncommon during a pour to get some splatter, and this is what they use if it gets a chance to set.

I looked more into the vinegar option and i have read that it can leave hard water spots, since it is acidic. Any idea on a base I can use to neutralize the vinegar once it removes the cement?

I actually use vinegar to remove hard water spots, so I don’t know what that’s about.

Do you just spray it on, or do you use some sort of applicator?

I mix it 50/50 with water. Spray it on, and wipe it. I do go back over it with a detail spray or something though.

I have been using a washing Mitt and having trouble reaching the top of the truck and middle of the windshield. Any recommendation of what I can use to reach all sections of the truck?

I use a milk crate, ladder, or open the front doors and stand on the floorboards, the ladder makes me nervous I might tip and scratch something. A short step stool or some kind of standing platform would be ideal. I was actually just looking at some items on Amazon for this exact purpose, that and a stool, currently I use on old rolling office chair which actually works great for working down low.
