Did my first foam cannon with gas powered washer yesterday....worked pretty good and probably overkilled by doing two bucket wash rinse on top. Used the reload/ech02 detailer combo to remove some water spots.... Will likely try hydro2 and beadmaker on the next go around... Not sure what you guys use for extension poles etc. I have a 3 inch lift and big ladder and it was tough...

I saw this video too and I went searching! Any case, I tried to order it at Oreilly's and they couldn't.. and when you try it on the Orielly website, it says can't add it to cart - that's because it's an invalid item now. They no longer sell this product. It's sad, if you go to Suprior website, it's no longer listed as well. I believe they have a different bottle now, probably not concentrated.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.. but I ended up getting https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BJCAPEE/ Chemical Guys CWS_402 Mr. Pink Super Suds Car Wash Soap and Shampoo (1 Gal). Haven't washed my vehicles yet, it's been raining like cats and dogs in the PNW..

Looks good, and no you did not overdo it by following up with a 2-bucket wash. Foam cannon washing will only remove light, already loosened dirt...not the sticky road film that can accumulate. I bought an extension pole with a microfiber mitt at the end from WalMart (Carrand was the brand). You can spend more.....Griots Garage sells a good one for 29.99, or you can splurge and buy the Microfiber Madness Incredipole for 64.99. So far, the 13.99 WallyWorld special has done very well for me.

If it means anything to you, I've migrated away from the 2-bucket wash method, and have gone to the 'one-bucket, lots of wash mitts' method. Once both sides of a mitt have been used, it never touches the car again.

The Mr. Pink you bought and the Superior Formula 4 Spray Wax are entirely different products....did I misinterpret your post? It read like you thought they might be interchangeable?

No, I know they're two different products. My main goal is just go get rid of hard water spots after a wash. The Mr Pink supposed to help reduce hard water spots with the soap itself. While Superior is a spray on wax but can be used during the wash - preventing hard water spots.

Did I say I HATE hard water spots with a passion!

Try adding a little ONR to your bucket along with your soap. It will help alleviate it somewhat. Should budget allow, look into a CR Spotless system. That thing changed my life.

CR system is nice but I'm not paying $$$$. I just can't justify it.

I can try onr , but I usually try to towel dry ASAP. Washington has an underground water supply so there is more minerals. When I lived in Portland their water was an above ground supply so there was less minerals in the water. I usually just leave it air dry. It Suck to live across the river.

Yeah, you still need to dry ASAP, but ONR makes it a little more forgiving in my experience.

Has anyone tried Chemical Guys New Car Shine Premium Dressing?

Bought a gallon off Amazon for $20. Really good reviews so I thought I would try it out.

Ok.. Mr pink didn't work as they advertised. Streaks and water sport still exist after rinse. Not even in harsh sunlight.

I call this bs. "Won't spot or stain in sunlight".

I'm returning it, and getting something else.

What wheel cleaner do you guys recommend....got a bottle of the Tuga devil but a little leary
I may just use a regular wheel cleaner on my truck wheels and save the Tuga Devil for other vehicles that haven't been powder coated and ceramic ..what do folks recommend? chemical guys, adams, griots? Also has anyone used the chemical guys blacklight soap for black vehicles? Can't imagine that making any difference....seems like a waste if using something like beedmaker too.

Pretty much any soap is going to leave spots if you don’t rinse and dry fast enough. Carpro Reset is the most forgiving I’ve found. If Reset dries on, it’s very easy to get back off. It’s one of the more expensive soaps, but it’s concentrated, so it does last a long time.

It’s an extra step you may not want to mess with, but going back over the truck with ONR after washing will generally solve your problem. It’s an extra 20 minutes at most. It’s what I used to do before I got my CR Spotless.

    Tuga Devil is very good.
    P21S Gel is good.
My favorite is Poorboys Wheel Cleaner.

@1UPPER uses Blacklight, and likes it a lot. I tried it, and it worked great. I like Reset better though, due to it’s forgiveness I mentioned before. I also feel it leaves better gloss. It just just feels better all around. Blacklight is half the price though.

Alright guys I need help. Last night was suppose to hail really bad, so I covered all my cars with comforters in order to prevent hail damage. My dumbass ended up tucking the blankets in between the door jams which cause the interior of my vehicles to get soaked. The seats, carpet, doors, etc were completely soaked. What’s the best way to prevent any mold or mildew from growing and creating that horrible smell ? I vacuumed them this morning but did not manage to get all the water out. The carpets and seats are still damp. Also my seats are leather so how can I dry the foam that’s inside? I am going to hand some DampRid packs to absorb some moisture but what else can I do? Worst of all, it didn’t even hail last night.57503673_2312058385517051_66306610065257_47464bb65f8978adc17a974c1671f798135896fc.jpg

    Sucks to hear.
Continue to absorb with towels and shop vac as long as productive. You need lots of dehumidification and ventilation. Your A/C in your vehicle is a dehumidifier, also if you could park indoors where you could run an a/c with fans blowing thru would be great. Keeping Temps down and dryer air will be key to avoid mildew. I would avoid heat, may not be good for the leather.

    Good Luck!

Take it apart (remove seats and carpet) is my best guess.. let it dry outside the vehicle.

ok so I just bit the bullet and ordered Superior Products Liquid 4 Spray wax. For $30 bucks.. 10 bucks more than the Mr. Pink but based on the video and other reviewers who have bought this will do the trick!

Wash, Spray on, rinse off! NO water spots - Hopefully. At least I'll get my money back on Mr. Pink through Amazon.
