I won’t bother typing them all out, but rest assured, there was a penis joke for every one of these posts.

Sorry about derailing the thread @WarEagleSteve. You can go back to teaching everyone about hardness and softness now.

I use the Maguiars purple tire gel. It’s great, and smells like grapes.

Also, I just started using this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Mothers-05924-Foaming-Wheel-Cleaner/dp/B0007RDVH0

    It’s the bomb.

I like Car Pro Reset soap, Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam, or Megs Hyperwash. Actually, almost any soap will work but I would stay away from the soaps with waxes in them.

As far as tire shine, no surprise, Waxaddict Tyre Shine.

Echo2 isn’t a soap but a versatile concentrated liquid that can be used as a Quick Detailer, drying aid, clay lubricant, and a rinseless/Waterless wash. Don’t use that in place of a soap.

Here’s my problem: the water at my house is very hard. Anytime I use water from the hose, I end up with spots all over the vehicle. Using rinseless wash with distilled water is the only way I’ve been able to avoid it. It’s especially a problem on my black Tundra. The spots don’t show up as much on my wife’s grey Sequoia. When I’ve had caked on dirt, I’ve just tried to hose it off and dry it ASAP. It’s a PITA.

I was thinking maybe it was a reach, @War Machine , you tryin' to make this thread risqué, but I see you're right; it's all about hard or soft.

I actually tried to think of another way to say it, but it is what it is. Hard water makes it hard.

Sadly, more like the guy who was involved in a motorcycle accident. We had just got back from the call.

I will do a rinseless wash on certain occasions. Super helpful for folks in situations where they can’t do regular washes.
Here is an article to shed some light...
