I'm curious about this too. Chemical Guys has a product for this but I've not tried it yet.

On chrome - as easy as a water/vinegar mixture for water spots.

There are a ton of products out there that claim to work but hopeful someone here has tried one that actually does work. The spots I have aren't super bad and hoping not to have to polish to remove.

I had some pretty significant water spots on my windows. I have very hard water, and had the truck for several years before I got serious about detailing it. I tried water and vinegar....did not touch them...Griots Glass Polish did nothing....Stoners Water Spot Remover did nothing. Once they've been there a while, they can be tough. I had to resort to CarPro Ceriglass and a rayon pad on my DA to have any level of success.

On glass, I've used pinnacle glass compound with a polisher and it came with a sealer. Worked well on my computer car.

My water spots are on the paint, they aren't too bad. I'll go in to Carzilla in the next while and see what they suggest, hoping not to have to polish.

My neighbor has gyeon water spot removed and said it works well. Also heard carpro spotless does pretty well. I was just about to use some on my vehicle but it got traded in, so unfortunately I never got to test either. Let us know what you find and what the results were if you could please

I need a little help. I’m having the hardest time getting rid of these water marks. I’ve used white vinegar and water mix, I’ve used ultimate compound, I’ve used Steel wool #0000, I’ve used a mr clean eraser. These marks just won’t come off. Anything you guys would try to use that I haven’t.

I've known people in here have used bar keepers friend cleaner...but make sure not to let get on paint. I've used meguiars glass kit that comes with a compound then a sealant to put on after. Get at local store and was only about 15 bucks I think. Just my $.03

If that's on window glass......your only alternative might be ceriglass on a rayon pad with a DA.....CarPro sells a kit using ceriglass by hand if you do not have one

I will try bar keepers friend tomorrow and if that doesn’t work I’ll give this a try.

All the questions about water spots:

Barkeepers Friend in liquid form works great on glass. Just keep it off the paint. May work on chrome also, but I haven’t tried it. @briarpatch recommended P21s polishing soap a while back. I got some, but I haven’t tried it yet.

On paint, I’ve had a lot of success with Optimum MDR. That stuff worked great on my granite countertops too. A clay bar will usually do the trick also.

Clean the window and side channels really well, and hit the side channels with some pure silicone spray lube.

When you say "side channels" are you referring to the vertical channels the window rides up in the doors? (red lines in pic) I'm asking because one of my windows is getting noisy.

Any remarks on the W9 water spot remover from GTECHNIQ. Is it any good and can I use it on wheels?

Unfamiliar with that product....but I'd imagine it would depend on the wheel. I'd be more inclined to try a clay bar and/or a light polish first
