I've been using 1 bucket, but spraying the crap out of the mitt after each use before it enters the soapy bucket again. Seems to me that that would be better than swishing around in bucket #2, which would have progressively dirtier water. And I use lighter colored mitts to be able to see where the schmutz is so I can spray it off. Anyone else do it this way?

Not the Gary Dean method. I have a wash bucket, but follow Larry Kosilla's sequence with multiple, typically 6, wash mitts. One for the roof, windshield and hood, two for each side of the vehicle (upper and lower half) and one for the back of the vehicle. I also do the grille area before starting this sequence, after the wheels, tires and wheel wells. Similar to the Gary Dean method, however, is the idea that once a towel/mitt gets dirty, it does not get reused. And, yes, I do lot of laundry.

Same here, but trade the 6 mitts for a dozen or so mf towels.

My wife is a fan of me washing car cleaning stuff a lot, she wants me to wear out the POS machine we have that doesn’t have an agitator. We both win!

Same kinda. I use 1 paint wash bucket that includes the glass and another bucket is for wells and wheels. I also use 5-6 different wash mitts. I use incredipole MF on the roof and I have taken a real liking to RC wash Products. I used those ones you put your hand in for the wheels and wells.

Damn brother, nothing wrong with that. I don't use 2 buckets anymore, I just explained that method for a way for beginners to get started with decent techniques. I actually use a foam gun and several mitts with a soapy bucket for rinsing mitts plus a spray rinse. I'm kinda bucketless in way. Don't really need the rinse bucket, just an extra step I do to rinse the mitts or boars hair brush. I foam the hell out of each panel after a pre-wash/rinse and take the mitt straight to it.

Nothing better to seal paint easily and effectively. Also great to use when rain is forecasted. I’ve actually applied it in the rain a couple of times.

The Incredipole is awesome. Great for the roof, glass, and a tonneau cover.

This is also cheap and available at Walmart. Great for the grill and wheels. (Get two, don’t use anything on wheels that you use anywhere else.)

I have really liked their premium wash pads.

side note I ordered the new microfiber collection from griots about a month ago and got an email yesterday they will not be in stock ready to ship from them for another month because of how the world is right now.

Just watch out for fakes on Amazon. I got fake CB ones and I had a full mix of ech02 and dropped it from about a foot off the ground, the bottom cracked out of it and it spilled my product all over the garage floor. They were cheap, brittle, thin plastic of no value. I should have just sent them back or even just threw them out but at the time I really needed a sprayer.

Speaking of sprayers, does anyone use waxaddict feeder in a spray bottle? I hate using those foam applicators that end up getting chewed up.

The sprayer that comes with Waxaddict products is straight garbage. I’ve put them in other bottles, but the product really doesn’t work well with any sprayer I’ve tried. It’s too thick to be used effectively that way. I always end up using applicators.

Need some help. Trying to remove these spots from the chrome (another reason to hate the chrome) tried Adam’s Polishes Water Spot Remover, and a clay mitt. No dice. I suggest a new bumper. The ceo (wife) said no. 7095A169-AE9C-4F18-91E1-884A750BAC99.jpg
