Park it outside on a really hot day....sticker will come off easily. Just move the edge up with a fingernail. I did this with stripe tape a dealer put on that I did not want.

Only issue I could think of would be a difference in the paint under the badge as compared to the surrounding area

Hmm yes. It is 040, not sure if that would be better/worse? Was thinking of doing a clay bar and polish after. Might try a small one as a trial first, perhaps the 4x4. Love the classic Puddy btw!

Just got done detailing the Tundra. And it came out beautiful. I used Jacar Power Lock polymer along with the Collinite no. 845 Insulatorwax for the first time and wow, made the MGM look amazing.

Haha. Yeah. I tried the 3M all purpose cleaner I have but it didn't do much. Recommendation?

And the windows drive me crazy. They have hard water spots on them.

I use wiseguy and brushes for the wheels. for hard water spots on windows I use liquid bar keepers friend.

for shine I use shine supply classy chassis cause it smells so damn good but only on the wells and undercarriage not the tires.

Ugh…. I know I’ve read it on here, but now cannot find it….. what product works well to restore Line-X? Mine is a little faded. Should be the final fix now that I have a camper shell.

I’m sure that will be great on engine bays and undercarriage including wheel wells.

I take my vehicle washing seriously... lol this is my setup.
pex waterline off of my water softener feeds to a water spigot.
separate line from water spigot that goes to a RO system i have mounted to my wall in garage.
Water goes into a 15 Gallon water tank that I can hook my pressure washer up to for that spot free rinse.

Testing out Solution Finish on some trim. Trim was in good condition to begin with but it was definitely evened out. Been reading good reviews about longevity of it so figured I'd give it a go on a customer's car.

I found it on Detailing tik tok lol. Figured for the price it's worth a shot. I thought I had ordered cerakote trim for my real bad shape Mini Cooper's trim....realized it was the headlight kit. So I'm going to use this stuff whenever I get around to washing that thing next and that'll be a real test of how good it is. Can see how rough it is here.

I know people also will apply SF and then put a true ceramic coating over it for even better longevity. I have not tried that yet.

hmmmm. SF topped with DLux... Something to ponder. My cowl isn't looking that good and I'm driving a 2020.

In need of some advice. My windows are starting to streak on the inside from rubbing against the rubber seal at the top of the door. I clean the windows every other day when I see the streaking and it cleans up very easy. Is there anything I can use to prevent the streaking in the first place? Anything I can do to that rubber seal to get it to stop? Thanks.

I don't cuz it seems to get in the air and settle right back down inside the vehicle for the most part from what I've seen. I just use a non greasy style cleaner

Id start with the window seal. Something on that is making it dirty or within the door panel window mechanism area. I've seen before somewhere that they had almost the same exact issue and they pulled the door panel apart to find something leaked inside it and it was just smearing away
