I dont have much in way of it catching on something. Did notice a couple spots you have to be a little more careful around, but overall it was amazing. I did wash it after as directed and hung it to let it dry. I'll have to check it this evening to see how that went.

Any advice how to remove the adhesive left behind from the 4x4 sticker on the bedside?

Depends on how long/baked on it is. I've had good luck with Goo-Gone removing dealer stickers.

Truck is Brand new. I just took the stickers off last night. I didn’t know if goo gone would mess up the paint.

Nah just clean it with a alcohol mix afterwards and then and a sealant or wax. ( I’d do the whole truck but that’s just me)

Will a synthetic clay bar with a speed shine product work as well?

I think that is overkill for the task. Goo Gone will take care of it.

Gotchya, its not as tacky as the stuff behind the badges; there you would need something like an eraser wheel and clay mitt.

I removed my stickers and used standard Goo Gone (nonautomotive) to remove the reside, if you can take the stickers off in one piece you'll have less clean up. Wipe it down or wash after and you'll be fine.

I see your sticker may have been on there longer than what I had to deal with. You can try a heat gun (monitor the temps of the surrounding area) and/or eraser wheel. If you go with the wheel make sure the surrounding area is clean so you're not grinding dirt into your paint. The wheel is made from a softer rubber, on its own it can't damage healthy paint. Its the dirt that ruins an easy job.

The tacky stuff behind the badges is actually really easy for me. I get one edge started and pull it up and away from the direction I’m going and it comes right off without leaving any residue. It’s weird since my last truck the 4x4 sticker came right off and left nothing behind, this truck left residue basically the entire length of the sticker.

I recently picked up some Nightshade wheels for a good deal. They did have scratches from what looks like previous washes and scrubbing with a brush. Any suggestions on the best way to cover up/eliminate the swirls?

I think so. Sorry that was a terrible pick. They are gloss black and the swirls/scratches are on top of the clear coat. I cannot feel them.

I’m going to clean the entire wheel today and then see if a wax will make them look a little better.

Alright folks, I need some help with a dirty windshield. After washing the truck and cleaning the windshield inside and out with Chemical Guys glass cleaner, I still notice a filmy substance on the inside. I can’t take a good picture of it because I can only see it when the sun hits it just right, but I know it’s there and can run my finger through it and it comes off. Do y’all think it’s the cleaner or maybe leftover residue from me spraying Armorall on the dash?

I would almost be willing to bet that it's armor All. I would discontinue use of that garbage product. There are far much better products for your dash that won't collect dust every chance they get and are far easier to clean off of your windshield if you get overspray.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice! I’ve got some chemical guys stuff but my cheap ass didn’t wanna waste what was left of my armor all lol. I’ll see if that’s the culprit.

Yes. CG is fine in a pinch but not recommend by myself.

    I use
    Griots (interior detailer)
    Carpro (inside and pearl)
    Shine supply (clean and shine)

Even when you replace the Armor All stuff with a higher quality product, you will still get that 'film' on your windshield, although to a lesser degree I'm sure. Dashboards have chemicals in them to help protect them, and over time, they leach out and end up on your windshield. That residue, however, cleans up easily with a decent glass cleaner. I've used Invisible Glass for years, and it finishes up streak-free and cleans really well.

If they are indeed clearcoated, try a light polish and see if you can improve them. Alternatively, a product like Xtreme Solutions LVR403 is a glaze with an acrylic filling component. It is capable of some very light correction, and when given sufficient time to cure, does an excellent job of filling the scratches. Once that is done, I'd recommend a quality wheel coating, like CarPro Cquartz Dlux or Gyeon Rim.

If you want something that lasts a very long time cerakote trim works the best.
