Anyone else notice this as a possible cause to the drivers side wind noise?

I encourage everyone to take a close look at how poorly the window gaskets are seated against the glass. There are large gaps which allow wind noise.

I'm the same way...my driver-side door is difficult to close. But I don't hear excessive wind noise so perhaps it's not the door seal.

I'm not sure that's the issue, as cracking the window doesn't change the sound. The sound only goes away when the noise of the wind coming through the window drowns it out. In my experience dealing with hoopties for years in my youth, lowering the window a few millimeters is usually enough to change any kind of wind noise. Could be different in this case, but doesn't seem likely.

I taped different areas between rest stops on a recent road trip.
The biggest difference was when I taped along the window seal.
I then took pieces off to try and isolate it more, but could not pinpoint any specific area. It almost sounds like it comes from both the rear upper corner and the front at the mirror.

Thx, I'll try this next time.

I haven't tried to tape the window, I kept taping where door frame meets truck frame..

Same things happens with my car. I have air that comes through the door speakers. I was thinking there was going to be something wrong with the door seal or something but looking at it there was nothing wrong with the seal but then I noticed between the fender and where the door meet there's a another seal right there that's pretty big seal and it was just loose in there so I think that is my problem I haven't tried to fix it yet though. Makes sense why there would be air coming through especially at faster speeds

TRDJon youtube. He has many videos showing his journey with trying to get window noise diagnosed. Most recent video explains Toyota aware and has been narrowed down to door latch adjustment plus rubber door seal. He added a strip of rubber seal b/w seal and door (creating a little more pressure against door when closed) with success.
Not sure this is the same noise you are experiencing but good to follow his diagnostic journey incase "his" noise starts with yours.

Did anyone else not have any noise during the summer and now that it's routinely under 60°, the noise is back?

Mine has it, still has noise. Although it doesn't seem to be seated against the door very well.

I saw another post where the problem for a few people there was their windshield gasket oddly enough.

I get HVAC whistle but it's only with the blower on, mine is definitely around the window, at least judging by the noise volume when moving my head around the area. Also that post is about a 2005 Tacoma.

Mine seems to be intermittent…didn’t hear it in misty drizzle rain. Didn’t hear it after getting the e-brake ecm reflash…maybe the dealer fixed it and didn’t tell me (doubtful).
