Just bought and drove this '04 AC from Texas back to CT, didn't come with fobs and trying to add them.

    P3360212.jpg

The RS3200 programming procedure works so I must have that system, but I bought these remotes that have been linked on here a lot with FCC ID BAB237131-056, no response from the truck. I did clear all the fobs already and replaced the battery in one of the ones I bought, still nothing.

Am I missing something? I was thinking maybe buy an OEM fob which according to this thread is p/n 08191-00922 but I feel like this should've worked? Is there a way to check what FCC ID I need to be sure or are all RS3200s BAB237131-056 and I got bad fobs?

There's two types of RS3200 remotes and you have to make sure you get the right one or it won't program. Easiest way to do this is buy one of each and send back the one that doesn't work.
The two remotes are identical except one has a red led on top and the other doesn't

Weird that makes a difference, do we have individual part numbers for either? These were the no-LED fobs so I guess I need the LED one

I ran down the part number at one point.

Did you read the community megathread yet, "keys" section? You know you need to issue the command to ERASE all previously existing remotes if it won't take the new ones, right?

My guess is, the memory is full, and it won't take another key because you haven't cleared the old fobs out yet. Not an uncommon issue.

The only P/N I've seen is 08191-00922 and both LED and non-LED versions come up when you search it hahah. Might just have to order it and see what happens.

I did already remove all keys, it locked/unlocked 5 times like it should. And yup read that megathread before I picked er up

This is all I can tell you: https://www.tundras.com/threads/key-fob-replacement-2002-tundra.55779/page-9#post-3353208

That's tied to my '06 AC which also has the RS3200 system.

But seriously, I got used OEM ones from fleaBay and one (or two?) from a local junkyard on the cheap, they keep them behind the counter over here. Worked great. I don't trust anything new, unopened from scAmazon or fleaBay, you'd be a fool to do so.

Fair enough, the dealer is cheaper then ebay funnily enough so I just ordered one there. Zero indication if it's the LED version or not but I'm thinking it is

In that case, here's the other thing I can tell you about fobs.

Ignore the links on those, it links out to scAmazon. Bottom line is, the dealer will be able to tell you right I think.
