In your case I don't think it will be an issue since you have the earlier model 2nd Gen Tundra! You should be goooooood to go my friend :)

Why is it only an issue with certain years. Aren't all frame, suspension, UCA/LCA, etc...the same from 2008-present?

I'm assuming cause you got them before the bad batch of coils, cause your lift height didn't change at all

Just wanted to chime in and say that you're not alone. I've started a thread in the vendor review section regarding this issue.

This doesn't sound like a bad batch of coils. Sounds like it only applies to some trucks and some years. Not sure how that could be unless it's a QC issue.

@Toytec Lifts . Should I not install the Eibach kit I ordered a couple of weeks ago? Also is there a way to get a refund or a different setup such a the Boss Coilovers?

It appears that the Eibach 650 spring is not enough for the 4x4.

Yes, if you wish to do so I’ll be more than happy to help you with that.

Toyota changed their spring perch setup (from what @Ryan at Eibach stayed to us so they changed their whole shock and coil design to accommodate that change.
The older model year Tundra Eibach shocks were the first ones to come out that yielded the lift as stated.

I was all set after many, many moons of searching and finally decided on the Eilbach set up. But then all the comments about achieving lot less lift scared me away. I'm need the full 3" up front so started looking in other directions. Good to hear they are addressing the issue. Is there any time line on the correction?

Also, one other option I was thinking about was possibly going with a coilover system that was adjustable once installed. What are your suggestions?

Does this apply to just their coilover kit or when you purchase front spring and front strut as separate components?
