I like to say, this setup with the 650lb springs gave me a true 3” and rides awesome. Diff drops make my cv’s look close to stock. While my friend was cycling through the travel measurements, he said if I wanted another 3/4” lift it would still ride the same. Love the feel and the stance. Just waiting on my 286/75r18 from good year to come in. All in all, very pleased. Id highly recommend.

Nice! I have been reading on this setup for 2 days. I currently have the Readylift SST 3/2 spacer kit in my 13 with 285/70/18's and have been looking at swapping the front for these. So you did get a true 3 inches in the front after measurememts? I dont want to lose any height at all. 2 inch block in the rear? How is the ride compared to stock?

I went with the boss coilovers, and 700lb springs, to replace my rc 3" ones. Straight out of the box and installed I was at 3", gave them 1/4 turn for extra 1/2" lift.

That's messed up. Sounds like people are getting less of lift that they are promised. Could be better off using your original springs with the new shocks.

Yeah, I’m kind of disappointed in mine as well.... I’m going to reach out to @Toytec Lifts, but I never thought about measuring to see if I got 3” until people started bringing it up. I’m only getting 24” in the front, and from what I’m told, the stock tundra measures 22” from hub to fender on stock tundra.

I had my buddy, who bought the same lift, at like the same time, is getting 25”. I don’t understand why there’s a difference in the same kit.

Icon has the same issue with their coilover advertising. Stock springs only lifted mine 1.75” in front. I Asked for bigger springs. They wanted to charge me but ended up shipping them for free. I just told them flat out that I bought those expecting the lift they advertised. Then told them if they want to charge me extra to go ahead, all I want is what they were supposed to do. Which is 0-3.5” of lift because 1.75” will not clear my setup.

They sent me an email saying they are working with eibach for this problem. They also took that kit off their site.

I’ve got same kit and never checked before/after either. So you’re saying its 22” stock? I’m going to have to measure mine as well.

Which kit are you referring to that was removed? All 3 front coilover systems are on the site still.

I hope this gets resolved for you guys. Toytec has been nothing but helpful for me so I’m sure they are actively working on this situation. I haven’t measured my lift but I have the 3/1 Toytec and Eibach system so I’m assuming I got a full 3 out of it. I’ll measure tomorrow.

That’s what I’m told. So I’m intrigued to see what measurements everyone is getting. I measured again and I think I’m around 24.5”, but my buddy who has the exact same kit says he’s at 25.25”. We’re going to compare on Thursday.

Glad to see this thread is live, I am happy to give you guys an update on the Eibach issue you guys may be experiencing.

I have an extensive email chain going back with Eibach on these newer/ late model 2nd gen Tundras and their lack of lift. They are in the development of a spring. When they did their testing their vehicle was a 2WD Tundra and accommodated a spring rate for that vehicle, they are (naturally) in "emergency" product development testing of a new spring to yield the lift as they advertised.

Anyone with this issue needs to please message me on here with all of your information, invoice number, and purchase date so I can get it in my file, or email me at Davidm@toyteclifts.com.

Thank you all for understanding this once in a million error that occurred from Eibach.

I had the Eibach kit shipped to me 2 weeks ago just before they took the kit off the website. I haven’t installed it yet but now I’m nervous that I’m not going to get and keep the 3 inches they state. Hopefully everything will work out.

    David,

Are the 3 front coilover kits (Boss, Ultimate, & TUNEBCS) affected by this too, or just the ones in the complete lift kit that was removed from their site?

    Hey George,

Negative sir, the BOSS and Ultimate kits are the ride height adjustable coilover systems and are not effected by this. Only the TUNEBCS coilover (in some cases) are effected by this.

    Thanks!

Copy that. I was just confused because the complete kit was removed but not the TUNEBCS front setup. I still haven't figured out what I want to get in the future to replace the Readylift 3/2 kit keeping the same ride height. Its a 2013 2WD.

    @Toytec Lifts
Are we talking about the Toytec/Eibach coilovers here? TUNEBCS is the Toytec Part#.
I purchased these last year for my 2010, my front height looks good. I removed a 3" spacer lift and installed these coilovers, height stayed the same.
Am I looking at a possible issue here? Are the springs not rated for the weight? Is this an isolated issue?
