I have the same going on week 2 now. No issues. Love the smaller form factor. Chip is OEM too.

I bought the eBay key and had it cut at the local locksmith. He tried numerous times to get the remote to program and was unsuccessful. I bought the Techstream software to try and program it myself and cannot seem to get that software to work correctly.

I thought of trying a local dealer to see if they can get the fob programmed but don't want to have to dish out more money of there is no guarantee.

Bump, would this key work for 2014-17? It's the same GQ43VT2OT G-CHIP as the flip key that's compatible but it's listed on ebay for Solara, and I'm unsure about the "4D67" part, don't know what that means.

I tried it Joshua. It won't ... don't waste your money. I was able to marry the transponder chip with my Techstream program and have it cut but when it was time to add the alarm portion, the Techstream program will not accept this key. Just my experience. I have a 2016 Crewmax with G Key.

This is too funny, I remember years ago my 2000 land cruiser had an all in one key that looked just like these pictured. 19 years ago! It’s funny how the Tundra is the old faithful in the line up. Long story short, I, like many of you want another all in one key, so Now I’m following!

What is really funny is I bought a 2000 Land Cruiser last year for my kids to take back and forth to school and it only has the valley key. My only option as a backup was to get a copy of the valet key for $80! Can't program new keys on this exact model year without at least one of the original keys or replacing the $3000 ecu! So your post just taught me for the first time what key it should of had!

That’s painful, I don’t remember any obsorbadent costs when adding a key or two. Did you check over on IH8MUD on that topic? I miss that 2000 the most, was a really nice truck.

Sounds like Toyota all around loves to mess with people and keys!

As much as id like one of those flip keys all in one, for the price of the key and programming, ill stick to the normal key and separate fob. (semi retired on limited budget). It works just as well attach them to a carabiner that goes to the loop of my right side pants, a separate duplicate goes to the left side of my pants just in case i lock the first set inside. If I think one (all in one flip key) is expensive I sure as hell would never do two.

If I remember when i bought my fob off Amazon, you have to match the FCC ID and the IC code. My wifes '06 Sienna has the same FCC as my Tundra but different IC.

Anyone know how to find out which FCC ID the 2019 "H" keys have? Would love to try the Ebay route for a flip/fob key.

I'm in the market for an all in one key as well and see that this post pretty much died in Oct 2019.

Does anyone know of a shop who offers the one in all key in CA for 2016 CM, G key? Or could point me to a thread where this is discussed?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Okay, I have searched many threads, it seems like a mystery.

Just want an all in 1 key, G code programmed correctly, prefer OEM Toyota for a 2016 Tundra, SR-5,5.7 Lit.

This within a 450-mile radius from zip code 92883.

Anybody knows who got it done in So Cal, heck I even might drive down to Oregon, Nevada, please let me know.

Thanks for the info in advance.

Thanks, tightywhitey for your reply, this was however not what I really was looking for, the OEM Toyota style is what I'm after, but nonetheless, even the style you mentioned is not without its issues from reading the forums.

Just cannot believe that there is nobody in CA who has found one, and had it successfully programmed, but it might be an elusive item I'm chasing.

Heck for the effort I'm putting, I just might trade mine in and buy a new one :).

    But thanks for the post.

Know it's an old post, but were you able to program this to unlock/lock doors ? ...don't care about the key, my purpose is wanting this ajt fob : shopping_117b61a39bec8e6a124c7b32264ede8ed20c711b.png instead of bigger, flatter version for 14-17 : shopping_a4ae0299bbebf8e578421371a57afe64f3ea2bbd.png
