Finally had some time last night to finish up the airend install. Also new inlet valve, coupling and 4000 hours service. Pressure washed and ready to run.

Its had a rough life...hopefully last another decade on the road.

Machines in gravel pits are always pretty rough when they come in.

Hopefully they will start servicing this now...

Is there a date code that a home compressor should be retired? I have a Sears 220/20 amp 2 horse, two cylinder 20 gallon that I have not used since I moved in my present house 5 years ago - no 220 yet. But bought an upright Craftsman oilless (noisy as hell) 20 gallon since I needed air at the house. I want to sell the noisy one and get my two cylinder back running again. But, worried about tank getting old. I always drained it after use.

No date for consumer duty compressors.

You may want to hydro test it to make sure the relief is still functional.

    Look up hydro testing.

    Reliefs are cheap.

Yeah relief valves are cheap. And if you were good at draining the tank, I wouldn't be worried.

Been slow going on new projects due to companies reluctant to spend any money on systems right now. But apparently the .gov is just throwing cash out the window...

700' of pipe and all new machines in 5 days. First time on the road for any amount of time since the craziness hit.

Just trying to keep this old girl ticking...Old discharge check valve failed, so a new minimum pressure CV was installed. Machine is essentially just a back up/trim compressor, but got some much needed repairs.

And last install of 2020 for a local CNC company. They bought a building with a POS "US Compressor" already installed. Worst customer service I've ever experienced...

Ripped everything out. Fixed piping and installed the right machine and dryer for their set up.
